What people say about us !

The website is great source of power to the government officials who otherwise would receive such information / news in months time. It is requested to start a weekly section on any department or organisation that would focus on the work condition, problems, strengths, weaknesses, motivation level, promotion avenues etc e.g. the employees of EPFO or Prasar Bharti. Wish you all the best and happy DEEPAWALI.

Aaj Ki Aawaz

Diggy says 'who are the lucky four'!!!!

At Team Anna from day one Diggy's been sore!

Kiran and Kejriwal need to clear the air!!!!!

And respond to Diggy's tacit ' you are guilty till you prove yourselves innocent' dare!!

Fact is Anna has been advising his Team to put everything in Public Domain!!!

And procedurally on the right side they should strive to remain!!

Dhongi Swami Agnivesh has already proved he's Government's Trojan Horse!!!

For all inside info about Team Anna's plans he was Government's source!!

His objective is to derail and deceive!!!

And they say 95% of his wish from Sarkaar already kiya hai Dhongi Swami ne receive!!

Fact is as long as Anna's credibility is intact!!!

Team Anna will weather every Congress created storm and this is a fact!!

Mohna used to say high inflation is an outfall of growth!!!

A statement that many did loath!!

Now growth is falling but inflation is still rising!!!

Because of falling growth in inflation there's been no downsizing!

Maybe now Montek will be pressed into service and he'll say 'growth cannot be looked in isolation'!

And with technical jargon make budhu of the Nation!!

I know its hogwash .... but then this is how Montek works!!!!

And for this he gets over and above what he should get generous extra 'perks'!!!

Fact is our Economist PM has failed in the area of his skill!!!!

Despite the huge inflationary outfall 'crap is being doled to us' by him and his flunky Montek still!

Pawar is livid that his Lavasa dream is stuck!!!

He wants Sonia to wave her wand and get it unstuck!!!

But Sonia is at present in no mood to do so!!!

She knows the outfall but she's not told Pawar 'no'!!!

If as said for treatment she goes overseas!!!

Then she'll politely tell Pawar ' I'll look into it when I come back please'!!!

Pawar forgot if he wanted Lavasa to be passed like 'makhan' or butter!!

He should have made one Mr. Robert a sleeping partner and there would not have been even a flutter!

Advani is now wishing he had not undertaken this Yatra...but now it's too late!!!

Yours truly had advised him in advance about this Yatra's fate!!

He cannot go soft on Sonia and Rahul and expect people to believe this Yatra is 'anti rot'!!!

And then what about his own Party's 'corrupt lot'?????

Anyway yeh sabh toh will go on.... its Diwali... Diwali ki Shubh Wishes!!!

But it is reality to some happiness and to some sadness fate during this festive season dishes!

But like they say ... sabh din nahi ek samaan!!!!

Remember happiness and sadness hothe hai kuch din ke mehmaan!!

CORPORATE

Oversupply of Economists in UPA
There is a galaxy of economists in the UPA government but none of them have been able to control inflation or manage the image of this country. The India growth story story that was sold by the UPA is fast collapsing. Oversupply of economists with the UPA - who have ended up confusing the markets, and local denizens with their cacophony of forecasts and prescriptions. This confusion is contributing to a climate of
rising inflationary expectations resulting in flight of capital say observers.

Will the foreign currency situation become worse ?
There is definitely a flight for money in the country with the foreign investors pulling out to safe haven and exiting developing country's like India. Much of this can be seen in the way the stock markets are behaving. However if the export figures have to be reworked (after subtracting the questionable exports to Bahamas) India's current account deficit will go notches higher. This will lead to more demand for dollars and worsening of the Rupee. Experts say it could even go to 54-54 levels.

Ms. Bedi's other deeds also be interroggated

Your editorial today supporting Ms Kiran Bedi deserves to be condemned. Wrong actions cannot be supported on the ground that fruits of wrong action was used for good cause. It also needs to be seen what other benefits Ms Bedi is taking from these NGOs. Expenditures incurred by the Trusts run by her and utilisation of the assets should be publicly audited to find what other benefits are going to Ms Bedi and her family.

Deadly cocktail !

Let the dogs bark, the caravan will move, that seems to be the philosophy of the intellectually, morally, ethically and financially bankrupt top management's and with political bosses of questionable sagacity, when they head the organization. It can be a deadly cocktail !

Ms. Bedi in news for wrong reason

Kiran Bedi, the gutsy woman , retd IPS officer, is in the news for the wrong reason this time. It is obvious that the powers that be followed with missionary zeal the past and the present of the Activists to dig out something or the other to blunt their activism for the Lokpal bill. They have succeeded. What Kiran Bedi did about her travel bills is improper and unethical .Even if the money earned(saved according to her)has gone to her NGO engaged in social work it was wrong to make false invoices. Are not the NGOs overcharged for her travel also doing some good work? What Kiran Bedi did was robbing Peter paying Paul. Not acceptable by normal moral standards. It is sad that such mistakes by those otherwise considered remarkable individuals have taken the steam out of what was billed as an exemplary crusade against corruption by Anna Hazare. The moral of the story is that those who fight for values have themselves to be men and women of impeccable chracter. It is our misfortune not to find many such people in Government or in civil society.

Aarti Khosla

Improper comparisons

The comparisons are not proper as cost of travel has increased during last 10 years. It would be better if number of visits be the criteria than the cost of travel

RTI

Application seeking indiscriminate information

The appellant had sought 08 paras of information regarding generation of power in various States and related information. The CIC quoted the Supreme Court judgment in Civil Appeal No. 6454 of 2011 (CBSE & Anrs Vs Aditya Bandopadhaya & Ors) while disposing the appeal. The Commission observed that the Right to Information is a cherished right but it has to be exercised with restraint. The requested information should be useful to the information seeker either personally or it should be useful socially or nationally. Wanton demand for information without any meaningful purpose behind it can not be countenanced as it puts undue strain on the limited resources of the public authority. Besides, collection, collation and transmission of information entails costs to the public authority.

Comments

In regard to information other than those enumerated in subsection (b) and (c) of section 4(1) of the RTI Act, equal importance and emphasis should be given to other public interests like confidentiality of sensitive information, fiduciary relationships, efficient operation of governments, etc.. The RTI Act should not be allowed to be misused in a manner where indiscriminate demands are made in the name of seeking information.
