Aaj Ki Aawaz

Congress's image takes a beating with every passing day!!! Sonia must be concerned!!! The only hope for Congress is that some very damning info on BJP comes out and BJP then has to sit on the same 'bench of shame' that Congress is sitting on!!! Congress being blamed for.....inflation, corruption, fall in growth, lack of foresight and hindsight.... list goes on and on!!!

Now Sonia and Rahul can only pray!!!

That Lord smites BJP and it starts to stray!!!

As expected Rahul is flying down to meet the Sikkim earthquake victims!! Prior to his visit info was collected about the seismic activity ... simple words possibility of more tremors!!!! Then smarting after the booing Rahul got at RML local Congress in Sikkim has been mobilised to select victims who will not indulge in booing.... carrot and stick method will be used to keep booing in check!! Rahul plays this farce whenever there is a tragedy in India!! Imagine at a time when every hand is needed most hands will be diverted to Rahul's visit!!! I feel it would ahve been better if some of those affected who need Super Speciality care should ahve been flown to Delhi..... they would ahve got the care they need and Rahul would have got his photo ops!!

Tragedies are not opportunities to score brownie points!!

Rahul this 'knee jerk brownie point attitude of yours sure disappoints'!!

In an affidavit Planning Commission says Rs. 31 is good enough for rural poor for their food, education and health needs!!! There is a reason for this ..... let us take Montek.... for years he's been living on the house.... he does not need to spend a single paisa for living and that is why he feels Rs. 31 is enough!!! His ghar, paani bijli, khaana peena (always eating officially and unofficially out and partying), car and fuel , health, travel are all 'on the house'!!!! Why do you think he keeps harping that subsidies should be done away with... take away his perks... official and unofficial.....and he'll change his tune on subsidies!!! When was the last time Montek went into rural India..... he does not have the time as he spends more time overseas!!

Does his job require that he travel so extensively overseas????

If you want Planning Commission to be realistic then all perks to them should cease!!

Congress's dirty tricks department has been ordered to 'finish Modi'!!! Just seeing Modi orate gave Rahul 'the runs'!!! He knows he cannot match Modi in any department .... Modi has a tremendous record be it administration or delivering!! So the best way out for Congress is to paint Modi black!!!! Congress will do its best to ensure that Court gets Modi!!! And no doubt because of PM ambitions Congress will get tacit help from some BJP Leaders!! I would still advise Modi to assuage the feeling of the riot affected..... it is not a matter of majority or minority.... wiping tears is above this!!!

Desh ka PM kaisa ho.....not like Rahul Baba surely!!!!

And also not like Mohna who has in his second stint fared extremely poorly!!

PS.....CBI has said SC should ignore Swmay's plea... CBI says only lower Court can look into this plea..... well if Lower Court rejects Swamy's plea he'll go back to SC... so why not SC cut short this wastage of time and money???? Manpreet Badal now has switched from 100 days to 100 nights.... now he says Akali Dal will split in 100 nights.... as he is dreaming 100 nights is only natural!!! Joke maara....the Planning Commission calculation of Rs. 25 is Sibal maths!! Advani has changed his caller tune to ' abhi toh main jawaan hoo'!!! Rahul read IIPM Arindham Chowdhury's 'Give thorns to competition' and ordered for truckloads of Cacti!!!

Modi should have applied Tilak to Maulana

Apropos to Modi's refusal to wear a fez cap and the derisive comments from the Congress supported paid media, many may not be aware that the 'secular' partner of Congress in the centre as well as in Kerala, Muslim League refuses to light lamp in any function. What Modi should have done was to offer tilak to the Maulana and the 'secular' cat would have been out then.

Opposed to setting up of nuclear plants

Now that Ms Jayalalita and Mamta Bannerji are opposed to setting up of nuclear plants in states ruled by them, what about shifting the location to Delhi on some flyover, Safdarjung Airport lying vacant or Ramlila ground ( so as to prevent any agitation by types of Baba Ramdev or Anna Hazare).

Remarks on "Whispers" uncalled for

Let K C Sivaraman and P C Verma, authors of uncharitable remarks against WIC , understand that such negativities and thoughts could wreck havoc on their physical and mental health. One wonders, how could retired civil servants be so uncouth and uncivil while exercising their Right to Freedom of Speech? Is this a case of old age ennui?.

RTI

Copy of agreement

The appellant sought detailed information about the installation of a cellular tower in the building of which he is a resident. The CPIO informed that the consent of the Secretary and Treasurer of the Association was taken before installation of the cellular tower in question but refused to provide information about (i) the rent being paid to the apartment owner on whose apartment the cellular tower has been set up and (ii) copy of the agreement between BSNL and the said apartment owner. The CIC rejected the arguement that the disclosure of this information would adversely affect the competitive position of BSNL. The CIC observed that the appellant has stakes in the building and its environment and the electro magnetic radiations emitted by the tower may affect him and directed to disclose the information.

Comments

This case opens up the numerous possibilities of the use of the RTI Act in the environmental protection. The PSUs are left in a position of disadvantage vis-à-vis their private sector counterparts.
