Aaj Ki Aawaz

Kursheed has been trying to 'lighten the situation on the 2 G note'!!!! First he admonished the Media ' there are more pressing issues'....... then he said the MOF 2 G Note had a limited life.... so not in UPA Memos and Notes have an expiry date!!! PC met Sonia and said that he wanted the auction route to be taken.... far from the truth..... yes after colluding with Raja to 'take it in' he covered his tracks by 'chapter closed' letter!! He overruled Officials in his Ministry to push Raja's, and actually his too, proposal for avoiding the auction route!! Pranab Da met Sonia too.... Sonia's stand with him was 'save Party'....she did advice Pranab Da that if Court orders CBI probe then so be it......at least it would not be seen as an internal war of two senior Ministers!! PC is going to be present in Supreme Court tomorrow.....he knows the odds are heavily stacked against him!! PC should be investigated for his dubious role in the 2 G scam!!!!

PC colluded with Raja and 'waylaid' the auction route!!!

And without a doubt PC's got a major share in the 2 G loot!!

Those in the know will tell you that though Gilani does heckle the Indian Government he has been asking and receiving favours from both State and Central Governments!!!! His boycott Rahul call was a carefully planned exercise that was managed from Delhi...... aim was to show that despite his boycott call Kashmiri students turned out to hear and see Rahul!!! Rahul told them that he too has suffered terror.... we all know that his Grandma and Dad faced 'every action has an equal and opposite reaction'!!! Okay some girls did gush at his looks.....he came out more as a student Leader than one who wants to be the PM of this great Nation!!!

Sushma Swaraj says the Delhi Cops should be taken to task for Rajbala's death... she knows that attack on innocent protestors came from PC........he's been trying to show his ruthlessness for some time.... he was also the one who got Anna to be put behind bars!!! What about compensation for Rajbala??? Sarkaar may use the Rs. 32 yardstick and calculate compensation!!!! And Mr. Mohna of course will at most issue 'feel bad on her death' statement!!!!! Sad part is we have a darpok and over servile PM.....not that Mohna does not feel bad but what can he do????

PC ko attacking innocent protestors and death of Rajbala ke liye karro try!!!

Now this is becoming Public's war cry!!!

Ghadkari after getting his stomach stapled is now putting up a exhibition of his 'political past and present'!!!! The man is living in 'fool's paradise' if he thinks he even has a 'dark horse' chance of becoming PM!!!! Modi is the clear frontrunner.... Advani despite the rap on knuckles by RSS is still trying to keep his flag flying.... his family is egging him on to do this as they feel it's his birthright to be PM!!!!! Sushma and Jaitley are watching from the sidelines!!! Nitish is there too..... be could be the consensus candidate!!! This I will say that a couple of months back NDA coming to power was a near impossibility and not this has changed to possibility!!

BJP Leaders are rubbing their hands in glee!!!

Opportunity to come to power karr rahe hai see!!

PS........ DP says Rajabala's injury was because the crowd got unruly... expert advice from PC & Sibal!!!!! IBN moaned MAK Pataudi's death for days......NDTV went berserk on 'match fixer' Azhar's son's death..... Rajbala's murder ....... both are chupp..... on orders from Madam directly!! Joke maara... revolutionary political book of our times..... Give Piles to Chidambram by Dr. Swamy!!!

What is holding up empanelment of 1978 IAS batch?

Then, what is holding up empanelment of 1978 IAS batch? It is regrettable to note that many would retire from service (after serving for more than 3 years as Addl Secretaries) without even getting the salary/pension benefit of Secretary level officers. It is time, the concerned realise this injustice and ensure that time-bound promotions are given based on ACRs and other clearances. Let us remember the batch of officers next to them. Let us not make them feel frustrated with their own seniors for this kind of lapse particularly when they have already started enjoying their due.

PM needs loyal 'babus'

Much has been written about ministers letting down our PM. Politically naïve, administratively weak with not much leadership qualities to show, one expected our PM to have atleast the loyalities of those handpicked bureaucrats around him, some of whom have got endless extensions. I am astounded to read about the memo (Law Minister says FM has only seen this note but not approved!) prepared by an officer of Dy. Director rank in Finance Ministry directly to a Jt. Secretary in the PMO detailing about the sequence of events. Then comes the action of PM's Principal Secretary who wrote about the desire of the PM to remain at arm's length from the 2G Spectrum controversy. What was the need for this officer to put his audacious remark that shows the PM in bad light, in black and white? Any other PM would have shown this much retired officer the door. But this officer though deposed from his post as PS by a much accomplished dynasty retainer, is still hovering around PMO as an advisor. Nobody knows whose interests, he is taking care of. Bureaucrats are supposed to guide the ministers from getting into problems. But with these types of bureaucrats, no politician or minister is safe.

Raise HBA limit

The upper limit for availing House Build Advance remains at a mere Rs Seven and a half lacs ! It is high time that the HBA limit is raised commensurate with the sixth pay commission recommendations.

Parivartan

Total lack of political sagacity

What more do you expect from an organisation ailed by financial worries, moral and ethical bankruptcy when it comes to postings, transfers policy. An absolute intellectual and leadership bankruptcy when it comes to strategic intents, direction etc. It speaks volumes about the lack of political sagacity and a crop of self-seekers at the top echelons, pandered by a pliable coterie

Vinay Chandran

What a pity?

First abolition and then creation again of posts also provides job for some in the government.

RTI

Copy of agreement

The appellant sought detailed information about the installation of a cellular tower in the building of which he is a resident. The CPIO informed that the consent of the Secretary and Treasurer of the Association was taken before installation of the cellular tower in question but refused to provide information about (i) the rent being paid to the apartment owner on whose apartment the cellular tower has been set up and (ii) copy of the agreement between BSNL and the said apartment owner. The CIC rejected the arguement that the disclosure of this information would adversely affect the competitive position of BSNL. The CIC observed that the appellant has stakes in the building and its environment and the electro magnetic radiations emitted by the tower may affect him and directed to disclose the information.

Comments

This case opens up the numerous possibilities of the use of the RTI Act in the environmental protection. The PSUs are left in a position of disadvantage vis-à-vis their private sector counterparts.
