Aaj Ki Aawaz

Manmohan Singh 'chori ki baath nikle go toh durr takh jaye gi'!!!

Aur chori karna waalon pe laanat laaye gi!!

Mohna now says his Sarkaar has failed on the perception front.... what a joke???? Media has done its utmost to change Public's perception on Congress's negative image but has failed!! What makes it worse for Congress is its 'chori and seena jorri'!!!!! IBN has already started saying '2 G is not a scam but bad policy'......so you can see Mohna's 'perception story' is just a huge fib.... Congress and its 'bought over' Media is doing its best but People are not biting the bait!!! Rahul got a taste of people's wrath at RML and now Sibal faced people's wrath at Darya Ganj, Delhi!!!! People are sick of Congress, its choris, its seena joris, it servility to Gandhis, its double standards ...list can go on and on!! People have realized that Congress will try to 'enforce Rahul on the Nation'...why us even US has called him Mr. Faux Pas!!! Coming to 2 G...... it is well known that MOF's concurrence is mandatory.... as MOF is entrusted to protect the financial interests of the Nation!!! And why was this Note not given to JPC???? Why is CBI hiding the file that contains minutes of meeting between PC and Raja..... in fact it is rumoured that PC's got this file to make it abs sure that file is not leaked!!

Manmohan Singh has waved 'warning flag'..... press more and you will prematurely face election!!

Hoping that this will cause in Opposition's belligerent attitude a correction!!!!

Rather than making the Opposition worried this warning has made the Opposition go belligerently ballistic and made Congressmen go into a depression.... ulta effect! Mohna must have felt desperate times need desperate measures which resulted in Mohna warning Parties 'are you ready for a midterm poll'????? Congress should actually be the one who should be mortified in case there is a midterm election!!! Congress's stock has plummeted......then Sonia's not going to be able to lead the election battle.... though on this I would not be surprised if Congress tries to kick up a sympathy wave..... but I doubt it will succeed.... Sonia's being held responsible for the maladies that Congress has inflicted the Nation with!!! Pawar I hear has already started via Sena 'backroom talks with BJP'..... so has DMK.......there are a few Congressmen who see Congress's doom who are also contemplating jumping ship!!!! And they say shortly Sonia's leaving for US for follow up treatment!!! Mohna they say has been promised 'Rashtrapathi Bhavan' will be his next address!!!Seems now 'what will happen after her' Sonia's starting to address!!!! Some say Ruhul's coronation will take place in December 2011.... others brush it off 'never'..... never meaning it will never take place!!

BJP must play its cards right!!!!

And now BJP Leaders cannot afford to fight!!

It is well known that to make Modi trip some BJP Leaders have been hand in glove with Congress!!!! Sushma's name tops the list!!!! Somehow she's got it in her brain that she's the 'ideal choice for being India's PM'!!!! Advani is still mumbling ' I'm the next PM'!!!!! At least up to the next General Election (which could not come before 2014) BJP needs to return to its 'cadre' days!!! Five years in power spoiled BJP........ power does this!!!! I'm sure when BJP comes to power its Leaders will indulge in chori..... but my feeling is it'll be nothing compared to Congress's Great Loot.... pea shooter compared to the Bofors Gun! And I'm sure if Modi does becomes PM he will not allow 'nanga naach of ghoos' .....that has been the hallmark of UPA!!!

World Economic situation is precarious....uncertain!!!!!

A big leg down in asset classes is abs certain!!!

US says the World Economic woes are because of Europe and Europe says US to blame!!! If Europe has got bankrupt Countries .... US has got bankrupt States!!! And then do keep in mind US's balance of trade deficit!!!! US is today 'Made in China'!!!! China makes ports, bridges , roads in US and US exports chopsticks to China!! When it comes to consumer products US is a 'China junky'!!!! But I wonder why despite all this big investors are 'hording Dollars'????? Are currency wars on the anvil?????

PS.....They say Congress is selling India ' lock, stock and spectrum'!!! Congressmen were 'pleasantly shocked when Madam served them chocolates to them at 10 Janpath'... some construed it as 'Madam was getting down from her high horse'!!!!

What is holding up empanelment of 1978 IAS batch?

Then, what is holding up empanelment of 1978 IAS batch? It is regrettable to note that many would retire from service (after serving for more than 3 years as Addl Secretaries) without even getting the salary/pension benefit of Secretary level officers. It is time, the concerned realise this injustice and ensure that time-bound promotions are given based on ACRs and other clearances. Let us remember the batch of officers next to them. Let us not make them feel frustrated with their own seniors for this kind of lapse particularly when they have already started enjoying their due.

PM needs loyal 'babus'

Much has been written about ministers letting down our PM. Politically naïve, administratively weak with not much leadership qualities to show, one expected our PM to have atleast the loyalities of those handpicked bureaucrats around him, some of whom have got endless extensions. I am astounded to read about the memo (Law Minister says FM has only seen this note but not approved!) prepared by an officer of Dy. Director rank in Finance Ministry directly to a Jt. Secretary in the PMO detailing about the sequence of events. Then comes the action of PM's Principal Secretary who wrote about the desire of the PM to remain at arm's length from the 2G Spectrum controversy. What was the need for this officer to put his audacious remark that shows the PM in bad light, in black and white? Any other PM would have shown this much retired officer the door. But this officer though deposed from his post as PS by a much accomplished dynasty retainer, is still hovering around PMO as an advisor. Nobody knows whose interests, he is taking care of. Bureaucrats are supposed to guide the ministers from getting into problems. But with these types of bureaucrats, no politician or minister is safe.

Raise HBA limit

The upper limit for availing House Build Advance remains at a mere Rs Seven and a half lacs ! It is high time that the HBA limit is raised commensurate with the sixth pay commission recommendations.

Total lack of political sagacity

What more do you expect from an organisation ailed by financial worries, moral and ethical bankruptcy when it comes to postings, transfers policy. An absolute intellectual and leadership bankruptcy when it comes to strategic intents, direction etc. It speaks volumes about the lack of political sagacity and a crop of self-seekers at the top echelons, pandered by a pliable coterie

Vinay Chandran

What a pity?

First abolition and then creation again of posts also provides job for some in the government.

RTI

Copy of agreement

The appellant sought detailed information about the installation of a cellular tower in the building of which he is a resident. The CPIO informed that the consent of the Secretary and Treasurer of the Association was taken before installation of the cellular tower in question but refused to provide information about (i) the rent being paid to the apartment owner on whose apartment the cellular tower has been set up and (ii) copy of the agreement between BSNL and the said apartment owner. The CIC rejected the arguement that the disclosure of this information would adversely affect the competitive position of BSNL. The CIC observed that the appellant has stakes in the building and its environment and the electro magnetic radiations emitted by the tower may affect him and directed to disclose the information.

Comments

This case opens up the numerous possibilities of the use of the RTI Act in the environmental protection. The PSUs are left in a position of disadvantage vis-à-vis their private sector counterparts.
