Country in crisis at all levels
The country is in crisis at all levels be it be Judiciary, Legislature,
Executive or the fourth estate. We are heading towards a disarray. As
the country has become so large, with so much of problems that no amount
of amendments, laws, action can save the country.

UP CM is right
I fully agree with CM /UP about his comment on UP Officials, 1.Let the
Independent Enquiry on the assets of them be made by a Justice assisted
by CPO, Army and chosen Honest officers from judiciary & IRS / Customs.
I bet that most of the officials will be behind the bars. It should
be accepted that Babu's r a hated lot in the eyes of the public and
considered as corrupt to the core, (however there are some Dead Honest
officials too)
2.The IPS officers be recruited at the level of SI & allowed to
reach the DG level by proving their worth through assessment by seniors
& UPSC after d interval of 10 yrs. Time bound promotion even without
availability of vacancy has downgraded their willingness to work &
prove.

It is an irony
It is an irony that of all the people, UP CM Akhilesh Yadav had to call
UP bureaucrats corrupt. He must be aware that his father is neck deep
in trouble for amassing unaccounted wealth and is kept on CBI leash
by the UPA Government for his support. Did he ever check from where
his father, an Ex-Pahalwan of humble origins, got all the money to pay
capitation fee for his son's admission to one of the private technical
colleges in Mysore. It has become a fashion for corrupt politicians
to use their ill-gotten wealth to send their children to premier institutions
in India and abroad and these sons to come back and join politics and
preach to others about morality.

Police in India has become insensitive
Police in India has unfortunately become insensitive and their methods
of investigation are primitive. It is the I O who is all powerful and
senior officers selected through IPS cadre are not having full control
over them because of political interference. It is time that the level
of investigating officer is raised to at least Dy S P level and suitable
changes are made in the Law. The existing Police officers do not realise
the plight of the common man and are always making efforts for more
and more powers which is dangerous.

India - a land of bribes
Everyday we are made familiar with one or the other scam. With activists
like Kejriwal unleashing corruption charges against one or the other
individual, it has become a free for all battle for the media to entertain
the general public with lurid details of money laundering. To what effect
though? No head rolls, no one is getting punished. If today it is Congress
tomorrow it is BJP. If corruption charges are against People from one
party it terms it as 'conspiracy'. If it is against the other party
there is loud calls for investigation and action. Then your corruption
is bigger than mine goes the chorus as if there is a competition in
that. Where is the end ? If no one is punished are we not encouraging
corruption by exposing that nothing will happen to guilty howsoever
big the corruption is. India has indeed become bribocracy instead of
democracy.
