Sources close to developments in the BJP say Nitin Gadkari will quit and make way for Arun Jaitely, or Narendra Modi or LK Advani as the new BJP President the announcement is likely to come over the weekend. RSS sources say it will be an interim arrangement of the BJP President till Gujarat elections were over.

Asit Singh to return to parent IRS cadre
Asit Singh, Private Secretary to Union Minister of State- Petroleum and Natural Gas is returning to the parent IRS cadre. He is an IRS (IT) officer of 1990 batch.

Jose Cyriac relieved to join as CS, Kerala

Someone has mentioned raising the level of IO to Dy SP, tomorrow some one will say their r Manny IG & ADG without work they should be made IO ? Let recruitment be made of IPS at SI level, investigation will improve ! The inefficiency of IPS is attributed to Politician- what a joke. At least politician are accessible, SP & Srenior IPS live in their cocoon with high mounted ego wit total apathy to the public. The solution lies in Introspection about the Honesty, Accessibility, Accountability, Leadership qualities of leading from the front of IPS lot. The misuse of Manpower & Official Machinery should be checked. Give proper carrier to the Non Gazetted staff & u can see definite improvement. In Short " Apna Ghar Sudharo"
