Review all laws
The recent hue and cry raised in the country over the IT laws indicate
that either there are no qualified person(s) to draft proper laws or
it is deliberately done so that it can be misused by the officials.
The article in Times of India on Nov 29. highlighting the danger of
outdated laws still in the statute books confirms the latter view. It's
time that the senior officers in various Ministries/dept./organization
initiate action to review all the laws/rules under their jurisdiction
and take appropriate action either to amend or repeal the law. In case
such an exercise is not done urgently many more innocent people will
suffer.

Mandarins of Medical and Health department do not suffer
This is so very true. It is amazing that such obvious things are also
not done. The reason probably is that the mandarins of Medical and Health
department do not suffer, as they get all the medical facilities and
medicines at just a call. They would realize it , but only after they
retire. But by then, it would be too late. May God give them some wisdom.
