Indian Postal Service - Snail Mail

The DPC for SAG promotion has been delayed by three years and officers of 1989 batch of Indian Postal Service are restless. Two officers have resigned in disgust and another officer recently posted to headquarters is contemplating resigning from service. the morale of the officers is very low. officers responsible for delay are being rewarded and no one is really bothered. now a delegation of affected officers is planning to meet Kapil Sibal - he is the only hope in this darkness. I feel it is right step as restraint, patience and silence does not pay. Here is a service which enjoys all advantages - it has its own officers managing the cadre and promotions should be fast. This service is lucky to have Secretary from their own service and cannot blame the IAS. Unfortunately internal rivalry, one-upmanship, settling of scores, superiority complex of officers manning personnel division is all playing havoc. now intervention of Minister Kapil Sibal has become essential for course correction and ending persecution of officers of 1989 batch.
