DEBATE - Should bureaucrats alone be held accountable for policy decisions ?

Bureaucrats now feel that Ministers and Politicians also be held responsible for 'policy decisions' taken by the government. They also want that entire cabinet should be held accountable for policy decisions. How far they are correct in their thinking ?

Country should be proud of Pranab Da

I agree that one has only to visit any foreign country be it Japan ,China, Korea or Russia. Japnese are polite but they would avoid you if you talk to them in English because they fear they would not be able to communicate. Others have their own home bread way of speaking this Foreign lingo. It is a treat to hear Pranab Babu. He is an excellent speaker-one of the best this country has! He is a thousand time better than others and also towers over them in content and articulation. This country should be proud of Pranab Da and he should be made the first citizen according to me. I am a big fan of this statesman of this country.

Will the GoI please take a leaf out of Kerala's book?

The government and the people of Kerala showed more courage in dealing with arrogant foreigners than the government of India is capable of. Kerala united in ensuring that the Italian murderers of Indians were put behind bars in Indian jails and were denied special privileges like stay in 5 star guest houses and provision of Italian government meals. What arrogant demands the Italian government made after its men murdered Indians! Will the GoI please take a leaf out of Kerala's book and secure the release of the two Indian children kidnapped by the Norwegian government?
