IPS officers unwilling to join BSF at DIG level
The news that 6 posts of DIG are vacant in BSF is an old one. The IPS officers do not want to join the force at this level because the service conditions are difficult and they only want a posting to Delhi. Moreover they do not have anything to contribute to the force as they do not know anything about the culture and ethos of the force.

It doesn't alters the truth
Denigrating freedom fighters and forgetting history and making tall claims does not alter the truth that Babasaheb Ambedkar, though a great man, never went to British jails while the rest of the nation did. It is to the credit of the latter that they, considering Babasaheb's undoubted stature and work, made him Law Minister.

Dr Amedkar - role to freedom movement of untouchables
Some people conveniently tend forget that there were two freedom struggles - (i) independence from British and (ii) independence from tyranny of Caste Hindus i.e. freedom from slaves of slaves the Dalits or in those days anti-shudras or shudras.. While higher castes Hindus enjoyed full patronage from British for almost two hundreds two three hundred years, the lawyer families, business families and educated elite of caste Hindus had been very much serving the British. One cannot and should not forget the role played by certain high caste politicians in Bhagat Singh hanging case and Subash Chandra Bose exile. Hats off to all freedom fighters for independence of India, but one should not undermine the role of leaders who gave lives for freedom of human beings who were subject to slavery (worse than slavery in social practice such as untouchability). Freedom of India from Britain is one the greatest achievement of ours, but freedom from clutches of caste Hindus is much more important for millions of human beings, which was the struggle of more humane independence in nature. Can anyone imagine, if British imposed untouchability on higher castes, as they had been imposing on Dalits for thousands years...... Untouchability is the worst form of slavery and hence the role of Ambedkar is above any struggle of India. If one does an online worldwide survey, one may be stunned which was more torturous to humanity the British rule or the untouchability. We should all bow our heads out of respect to both kind of freedom fighters. Comparisons cannot be drawn.
