Many IAS officers to tender resignations
Tamil Nadu is no different from UP and Bihar. At the fall of hat, senior IAS/IPS Officers are being transferred. Many bright IAS Officers are eagerly awaiting to tender resignations and join World Bank/IMF Leasing and Financial Companies at the earliest opportunity. What a sorry state of affairs? The State which produced outstanding Officers like PC Alexander, Anna George, N. Shankar, TN Seshan and Geetha Krishnan is bereft of seasoned and committed bureaucrats.

Retirement Age

It will be politically inexpedient for the government to increase the retirement age at this stage. The young generation is waiting in the wing for jobs. A lot of fire is already brewing amongst them in the current recession phase wherein there is no job in the private sector. Grabbing of Government jobs will be taken very seriously by them and they may come to streets and create mobocracy. At this stage when the general elections are nearby the UPA Government will digging grave for itself.

Mumbai is not property of Maharashtrians

The city of Mumbai is a cosmopolitan. It is not the jageer of the so called Thackreys and Ranes. The city comprises of Hindi Films Industry, a language spoken in the North India. Milk being supplied by the bhaiyas of U.P. and Bihar. Also taxi drivers from the two aforementioned states. Then the Central Government has set up headquarters of a number of its orgnization in the city of Mumbai, who have invested a lot there. Not to forget the Reserve Bank of India, Air India and Indian Oil Corporation. You find a very few number of people working in the Civil Services. A number of youth in Mumbai do not know about the existence of competitive services magazine. They do not try to gain extra knowledge and when they find a person of North, who has slogged and comes to Mumbai to sit in competitive examination, they try to cause harm to them.

If one day the Government decides to shift all the headquarters to New Delhi and also the Hindi Film Industry to some good place in the North, then the city of Mumbai will bite dust and will have no revenues. Mumbai belongs to all Indians and not solely for Maharashtrians.

Disrespecting Constitution of India

Uncle of Akhilesh Yadav while making a statement that 'the Centre should call back all the IAS and IPS officers and that they will manage the state by PCS Officials', has disrespected the Constitution of India, especially with reference to the Article 309 to 312 under the Chapter 'Services under the Union and the States'. He should be booked under the "Prevention of Insults to National Honours Act, 1971. I belong to the State of Uttar Pradesh "Arrest me if you can", you Talibanis.

Diverting facts

I had stopped encroaching on your space when unfortunately some people converted the discussion on job reservations into caste debate. But one particular person is still repeatedly persisting in painting non-SCs/STs as a whole as anti-SC/STs which is not the fact. Now he is singling out a political party whereas all political parties in India are same. He has no word against such political parties which are openly preaching and practicing casteism and communalism. They have no policy other than this. He is now accusing your site of some sort of complicity! I am not only sure but quite confident that this is not the view point of vast majority among SCs/STs. It is the people who have thrived and want to thrive on unjust reservation policy of the Government who hold this view and at the slightest opportunity spit venom. For their personal ends, they will never allow the casteism to go from this country which is gradually happening.

Disclosure of IPR of government servants

The Commission upheld the order of PIO holding that the appellant has failed to establish any larger public interest, which warrants the disclosure of such information.
