Waste of govt money

Government of India and DoPT must see that many State Ministers coming to Delhi and meeting Central Minister or their own relation or own status ,when they visit to Delhi that don't have any state government work then why they waste government money. Many state minister never get a appointment to meet central minister stayed in State guest house in Delhi. DoPT or any committee must see that why they go to Delhi when their is no State matter involved in their visit. If such visits are checked, lot of money can be saved. It can be used for Development of State and people. Do you agree ?

Discriminatory treatment in CGHS

Direct OPD consultation is allowed in Delhi satellite towns but not in Delhi. The logic is not clear and best known to babus who controls CGHS and making the working more worse. When Escorts, Max, Batra has been provided the land at subsidized rates and court has issued directives for free treatment of certain percentage for poor peoples. Why the Govt. is unable to empanel them under CGHS list and CGHS beneficiaries can take treatment within prescribed CGHS rates. Govt. may allow direct OPD consultation in private empanelled hospitals by CGHS beneficiary pensioners at Delhi like in Noida, Gurgaon, Faridabad. Government should take initiatives to make things to work in simple and less complex manner. Do not complicate things.

On whom should the penalty be imposed?

Hearing a complaint for delay in providing information, the Central Information Commission (CIC) noted that the first appellate authority had directed the Public Information Officer (PIO) to provide the information. The PIO claimed that though the copy of the order was endorsed to him, the intelligence officer (subordinate staff) did not inform him about the order. The PIO requested the CIC to drop the show cause notice for imposing penalty. The CIC did not find the explanation satisfactory and held that the burden of proving that he acted reasonably and diligently shall be on the PIO under second proviso to section 20. A penalty of Rs. 25,000/- was imposed on the PIO.
