Why is govt reluctant to recruit freshers ?

It is difficult to understand the Government's reluctance to recruit freshers at various low level posts particularly when there are large unemployed youths in the country. On the other hand Government keep appointing retired senior officials/judges in various committees, commissions whose purpose are not clear! CAG should look into this aspect of Government functioning.

Really disturbing

The item on existing Lokpals or Ombudsmen is really disturbing. Who is responsible? And who is to correct the situation.

Mohan

Very unfortunate

Yes, the way the Home Minister Susheel Kumar Shinde gave statement is very unfortunate. Number one, when Rahul officially became Vice President and gave great speech, people started talking about it but Shinde's speech diverted aam admi's mind from his statement and media also concentrated on his statement with the result that great part of Rahul's most powerful speech went in vain because of this ill statement. I think, he helped BJP and now Shakeel Ahmed one more friend of BJP is helping Advani to come again in place of Modi. Everybody knows that here in India, no Muslim will get government job. Show me Tata, Birla, Ambani, Bajaj, how many have given job to this community ( Muslim).

Rakesh Rao

Kite flying!

Some vested interest babus are doing kite-flying through this column for their coveted ministries by planting false rumours that the Secretary of that ministry is being changed; civil aviation ministry being a recent example. WIC will do well by squelching such false and motivated rumours.
