3 IPS officers of 1987 batch shifted after promotion to ADGP in MP
Three officers of Indian Police Service (IPS) belonging to 1987 batch have been promoted from Inspector General (IG) to Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) and posted at different places in Madhya Pradesh. Accordingly, Ashok Kumar has been appointed as ADGP, Madhya Pradesh Human Rights Commission while M P Dwivedi will now be ADGP, State Industrial Security Force and Private Security Agencies, Bhopal and D S Sengar is ADGP, RAPTC, Indore.

2 IPS officers of 1988 batch shifted after promotion to ADGP in MP
Two officers of Indian Police Service (IPS) belonging to 1988 batch have been promoted from Inspector General (IG) to Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) and posted at different places in Madhya Pradesh. Accordingly, Arvind Kumar has been posted as ADGP, Welfare PHQ while Sudhir Kumar Shahi will now be ADGP, Special Task Force, Bhopal.

5 IPS officers at ADGP/IGP level shifted in MP
As many as five officers of Indian Police Service (IPS) working at ADGP/ IG level have been transferred and posted at different places in Madhya Pradesh. Accordingly, K C Verma(1985) has been posted as ADGP, Technical Services, Bhopal while D S Sengar (1987) will now be ADGP, RAPTC, Indore and M R Asudhani (1988) is IG, R & D, Police Manual, Bhopal. Besides, B B S Thakur (1989) has been appointed as IG, Telecommunications, Bhopal and R S Meena (1993) as IG, SAF, Gwalior.

4 IPS officers of 1995 batch shifted after promotion to IGP in MP
Four officers of Indian Police Service (IPS) belonging to 1995 batch have been promoted from Deputy Inspector General (DIG) to Inspector General (IG) and posted at different places in Madhya Pradesh. Accordingly, Mrs Minakshi Sharma has been appointed as IG, SAF, Indore while Dr Mayank Jain will now be IG, Police Community Relationship, Bhopal and L C Bhartiya is IG, Training, PHQ, Bhopal. Besides, Mrs Asha Mathur has been posted as IG, Crime Against Women, Indore.

4 IPS officers of 1999 batch shifted after promotion to DIG in MP
Four officers of Indian Police Service (IPS) belonging to 1999 batch have been promoted to Deputy Inspector General (DIG) and posted at different places in Madhya Pradesh. Accordingly, Rakesh Gupta has been appointed as DIG, Urban Indore while Mrs Dipika Suri will now be DIG, SAF, Bhopal range and I P Kulshreshtha is DIG, PHQ, Bhopal. Besides, Dr V C Verma has also been shifted to PHQ as DIG.

DoPT seeks applications for GM (NEF), FCI
The post of General Manager (NEF) is lying vacant in Food Corporation of India(FCI), Shillong under the Department of Food & Public Distribution. The officers at the rank of Deputy Secretary and Director in Government of India can apply for the same to the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) at the earliest.

Transfers and postings in CBDT

It is quite understandable that the same team in Central Board of Direct taxes who did transfers and postings of Commissioners in September last year wish to carry out transfers for this year in March itself! After all, the superannuation dates are due for the team. Once the old team superannuates, the new team may have their own favourites. It is thus only humane for the old team to try to hasten the process.
