As many as 12 scientists of group E have resigned from the services since 2007. While two scientists quit the service in 2007, five in 2008, one in 2009, three in 2010 and one in 2011.

DoPT invites applications for Advisor, NDMA

Miglani to move Kandahar
In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, Bihar government has transferred 72 IAS officers. They include three divisional commissioners and 16 district magistrates. While N. IAS transfers in Andhra Pradesh (UPDATED)
Andhra Pradesh Government has transferred seven IAS officials, including two district collectors. While V Anil Kumar (1995) has been posted as Chairman and Managing Director of AP Central Power Distribution Company, Anit Rajendra (1998) has been appointed Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of AP Industrial Development Corporation, N Yuva Raj (2005) has been transferred as Joint Collector Guntur district and made Vice-Chairman of Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority, GSP Das (2006) has been appointed the new Commissioner of Vijayawada Municipal Corporation and Kona Sashidar (IAS officer of 2003 batch ) has been elevated in rank and posted as Collector of Kadapa district. Besides, a promotee officer G S R KR Vijay Kumar (2001) has been made Collector of Prakasam district.
