India to showcase its military prowess
Few days from now India will showcase its military prowess on Jan 26,
2013. But what use it has for women comprising half the population who
feel insecure because as a society we have failed to protect them. In
no civilised society will you find such barbaric practices like rape,
honour killings, medieval justice of khap panchayats, female foeticide
etc and a thoroughly corrupt police force. We must hang our heads in
shame . Let sacrifice of Delhi gang-rape's victim who battled bravely
till her last breath not go in vain and her soul can rest in peace if
there are no more rapes, honour killings etc.

Audit assignments be allotted by IT Dept
CAs' have attest function and hence have fiduciary duty towards the
stakeholders they serve. The success of progressive policy of government
of "File, Smile & GO" largely depend on the diligence
shown in audit u/s 44AB of IT Act. High time audit assignments u/s 44AB
are allotted by IT Dept by selecting CA on random number basis which
will give independence to the CA and the fees be borne by the exchequer.
