Stake sale ruled out !

GoI may recommend a bank licence or may merge a PSU Bank (Vijaya Bank) with it. Also there would not be a stake sale. Even after possible stake sale scenario, government should hold more than 51%. GoI in 1993, at the time of Repeal of Industrial Finance Act, undertook on the floor of the House that IFCI will remain a Government Company and at no point of time Government holding would fall below 51%. Government holds 56% equity. So it can sale only 5% of equity, which does not look promising. So stake sale is ruled out. GoI have plans to make IFCI world class Industrial Finance Bank - Holding Company.

PIOs do not provide information

There is no doubt that RTI is a good act. Sometimes it saves lot of time of Judges. This act also controls the government work to be carried out in transparent manners. But some time PIO do not wish to provide information. They compel the information seekers to knock the door of CIC as the response of FAA is always similar to PIO. The PIO increases the works of CIC unnecessary.

Govt not compromising on merit.

Merit is the sole criteria while implementing reservations. Only meritorious among SC/ST/OBC get an opportunity in promotion as well as appointment in government jobs. Non-meritorious SC/ST/OBC are unemployed and they are in millions for your information. Without merit and requisite academic qualifications, nobody in India gets a government job, be it general or SC/ST. Rest assured, Government is not compromising on merit at all.

Claims of Delhi Police commissioner contradicted

Following interview given by friend of Delhi gang rape victim to News channels, new facts have emerged about delay on the part of Delhi police in taking the rape victim and her friend to a hospital and claims of Delhi Police commissioner stand contradicted. The least government can do to is to immediately sack Police Commissioner ,his joint CP and DCP and withdraw medals given if any for meritorious services. Delhi deserves better police officers not lacking in credibility .
