Why this extension is not extended to all government employees irrespective

Subbarao's successor
A person having good administrator's record as well as deep knowledge
of economics and financial management will be the right choice. As D
Subbarao is a good Governor, his successor must be better than him in

Manu Smiriti !
There had been exceptions among Hindu Kings. However, one can argue
that the kings ruled whole of India or a region. As per Dalit history,
there were many Kings who rose to power from Dalits. It is generally
agreed that credit of creating/ writing Mahabharata and Ramayana is
also linked to ancestors of Dalits. BCs have also produced spiritual
leaders. Ironically, these happenings of thousands years ago did not
abolish Varna System (which is considered the mother of inequality,
i.e. worth 'by birth' and not by 'worth' in Hindus particularly progenitor
of Untouchability forced upon Dalits. The Hindu sacrosanct old time
legal book Manu Smriti had laid down rules favourable to one community
and against the other, which left no room for Dalits and BCs to read
Sanskrit and attain education. Fortunately, today's India does not have
any laws against upper castes as it had for BCs and Dalits in Manu Smiriti.
Practice of inequality in Varna System and carried forward in Caste
System is responsible for the conditions of BCs and Dalits. It is this
centuries old suffering of inequality which brings them closer and not
politics. What is wrong if suffering communities come together and act
for their welfare. This should be seen as social reforms in Hinduism
and not as politics.

CGHS approved diagnostic labs harassing Senior citizens
CGHS beneficiaries, especially senior citizens, who are prescribed
Vitamin D3 deficiency test due to joint pains and other bone-related
problems by specialists of Government hospitals are almost deprived
of the same as the empanelled diagnostic centres are refusing to do
the test without separate prior approval from CMO/concerned CGHS zone
office. By the time the patient obtains permission the maximum expiry
date of 15 days lapses. My request to CGHS authorities is to instruct
CGHS approved diagnostic labs to remove this lacuna and give credit
facility for this test also without permission as in the case of other
diagnostic/specialized tests.
