Shortage of officers at DS Director level in GoI
The reason for this is that there has been expansion and increase in
posts at JS and above level posts aimlessly without realizing long term
effects just to give promotions to whole batch. For the last so many
years pyramid of civil service in the upside down direction. This is
high time government thinks of creating posts at lower level reducing
some posts at higher level so that pyramid is placed in right position.

Creamy layer and stoppage of reservation
Creamy layer and stoppage of reservation to next generation of SC IAS
officers and particularly to SC politicians will put political and social
reforms of Hindu society into reversal mode. The reservation policy
has restored faith of Dalits in Hinduism because they have seen political
equality. Newspaper readers know that creamy layer is Vajpayee regime
agenda to put ban on reservation in a phased manner. This pre-planned
scheme of upper caste thinkers of a party is not finding support from
any section of Dalits inspite repeated efforts. Rich and poor Dalits
know that Creamy Layer is a baby-step to stop political reservation
in reserved constituencies, a well-thought game-plan to destroy their
political rights. Reservation has forced upper castes to vote for Dalits
leaders. Political power which used to be the solemn right of upper
castes has now been shared by Dalits. Creamy layer will systematically
and slowly cover all Dalits so that they cannot form a political group.
Therefore, creamy layer is a deadly weapon which will ultimately turn
all Dalits into politically weaker as they were subjected to for centuries.
Creamy Layer is a Brahma Astra to destroy Dalits politically and put
Hinduism into reversal mode of backwardness.
R K Singh
Have a category of creamy layer within SC/ST
In my view we should have a category of creamy layer within SC/ST which
can be categorized as SC(CL)/ST(CL).The people belonging to SC(CL)/ST(CL)
should be taken, in case enough candidates of SC/ST are not available
for a particular job, against the quota meant for SC/ST. I want to make
it clear that the suggestion does not ask or mandates that their jobs
should go to other categories but atleast first right to get privilege
should go to deserving among SC/ST.
