Encouraging awareness
It is encouraging to know that new CBDT Chairman is aware that figure
of 42800 whose taxable income is more than 1 crore is not correct and
also only 3% of population paying income tax. Then what is remedy ?
Think and work it out but remove impediments from the tax laws and make
it more simpler and user friendly. ITR-1 (SAHAJ) cannot be filled who
have tax exempt income more than 5000/. Is it not absurd to put such
condition thru latest 2013 notification. What is this idea? At least
more than 2o types of income and allowances and SB interest are tax
exempt then why people are being deprived to file simple return form
whose income is thru salary/pension and interest/dividend only. Chairman
CBDT should think and workout a solution for simplicity.
A Kumar
Now wise decision
The thought of Delhi Chief Minister regarding increase of retirement
age of Teachers community from 62 to 65 is not worthy for the generations
to come in teaching fraternity. We are ignoring the young talent having
multiple technology thoughts with them to deny employment opportunities
as compared to old horses, those are not energetic and without modern
technology thoughts. Opportunities may be opened up to new talents without
increasing the retirement age of the
employees either in Central/State governments and/or Public Sector undertakings.
Abehy Anand
Stupid notion
It is a stupid notion that increase in retirement age will take away
the chance of young talents. If that is the case then the retirement
age should be bring down to 35-40 so that more and more young talents
get the chance.
