Kaun Banega Chairman - Railway Board !
Dear Sir, I am reading with interest for the last 3-4 days -Kaun Banega Chairman - Railway Board. In fact as per the rules - with One year GM and two years balance, there are two officers available whose names have not been mentioned by whispers. They are A K Mittal - GM/SW Rly. and R S Virdi - GM NF Railway. If Mittal is posted -being senior most on MS posts which is presently available, then there is nobody else except Virdi for CRB. But there is no alternative except posting these persons as MS and CRB.

Creamy Layer in SC Category or General Categories?
If there is any elite in IAS i.e. Brahmins and not SCs because Brahmins although they are two percent of the population have captured majority of the positions in India. While SCs are supposed to have 15 percent quota, guess how many IAS officers are there, how many Secretaries, only one Secretary so far in the last 50 years, that too very recently. Now, count the Brahmins Secretaries so far in India and do you still feel there is no need to put Creamy Layer on them. I disagree with your thoughts and suggest that Brahmin IAS officers need to stop their generations to compete in IAS so that other castes can also take advantage. They have perpetuated invisible reservations for themselves. Brahmins need to stop their ancestral reservation first and then suggest SCs not to avail reservations in jobs. The poorest among three higher castes and also poorest among Brahmins are suffering due to perpetuated ancestral domination by elite Brahmins. Instead eyeing quota for SCs in jobs, if you confine Brahmins to 2% or in proportion to their population, it can really give justice to other poorer from higher castes.... that is the place where we need creamy layer. To reiterate, you really need to understand that safeguarding or keeping mum on 'ancestral reservation for higher castes', and suggesting changes or lambasting reservation policy for SCs will not do any good to any one either SCs or General Castes. First you need to set your own house in order and then suggest others for creamy layer.
