4 IAS officers get fresh assignments in Karnataka
As many as four officers of Indian Administrative Service (IAS) have
been transferred and posted at different places in Karnataka. Accordingly,
Bharat Lal Meena (1985) has been appointed as Principal Secretary to
Agriculture Department while Dr Amita Prasad (1985) is given an additional
charge of MD, Karnataka Silk Industries Development Corporation, Bangalore
and M Lakshminarayan (1987) was also given an additional charge of Principal
Secretary, Urban Development Department. Besides, Dr N S Channapa Gowda
(1999) has been appointed as Registrar of Co-operative Societies, Bangalore.

Transfers and posting of IPS officers in MP

As many as six officers of Indian Police Service (IPS) have been posted
at different places with some amendments in earlier transfer orders
in Madhya Pradesh. Accordingly, the transfers orders of Ashok Awasthy
(1990) have been cancelled with keeping him posted as IG, Special Police
Establishment, Lokayukta, Bhopal while Sushant Kumar Saxena (2005) will
now be SP, PHQ, Bhopal and Ashish (2005) is SP, Bhind. On the other
hand, the transfer orders of Sachin Atulkar (2007) have also been cancelled
with keeping him posted as SP, Balaghat. Similarly, transfer orders
of Rudolf Alvares (2009) have also been amended with appointing him
as SP, PHQ, Indore and Gaurav Kumar (2010) will now be Additional SP,
Ratlam.

Educated population get a substantial increase
Unless the educated population get a substantial increase, democracy
can't give 100% of its fruits, and the Didi's, Amma's, Appa's and Bhayya's
will rule the roost. It is not ripe time to recognize that literacy
should be measured with at least 10+ education and not merely signing
his or her name.
