Do we have only 42,800 crorepatis in this country?
FM's emphasis on 'only' shows that he himself was skeptical about this figure. Our Members of Parliament and many of the State Assemblies are crorepatis going by their own affidavits. What about our corrupt bureaucrats. Even a small fry when caught is found to be worth so many crores. It only shows many of the crorepatis are tax evaders. Why not start an 'abhiyan' to catch them instead of burdening those 'poor' crorepatis with surcharge on tax who have declared their status of a crorepati
and pay tax on that income.

Biggest flaw

The Central Secretariat Manual of Office Procedure (CSMOP) in the Central Government is being administered by the Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances. One of the biggest flaw is that it still talks about U.O. Note, which is not longer in existence. We have started calling it I.D. Note since 7th Edition of CSMOP. The training module also does not contain information about the changes made in the 13th Edition of CSMOP based on the recommendations of 2nd ARC. Prior to its hosting DAR&PG should have been consulted.
