Minority Affairs
Now that Farooqki has moved to Telecom, the case of Dr Santanu Behuria's transfer to Heavy Industry is being talked about. In case he moves from Minority Affairs, the government should post a person belonging to the Minority Community to that post. Posting a Sikh or a Christian would be ideal. A Hindu Secretary should never occupy the post of Secretary, Minority Affairs.

Attention CBDT
The CBDT has been doing hard work in transfer of officials during this month. What about the grievances of assesses who has filed their returns and copy of ITR-V timely for refund. Unfortunately, in many cases CPC at Bangalore has not processed the returns for want of duly signed ITR-V, which was already submitted. Kind attention of CBDT invited to this matter.

All are benefited by reservation policy !

The presumption that poorer among SC/STs are not benefited as richer among them keep on utilizing quota is contrary to the fact. Sometimes one might get carried away by anti-or pro- reservation beliefs unless someone clarifies on the forum. First of all, there are many rich among the particular lot who neither use the caste nor do they take reservation benefits. In fact, there is no reservation after Class Posts, hence reservation automatically gets stopped after Class I. Secondly, those who take advantage of reservations and reach the top, they set an example to poorer lot and become source of inspiration for them to follow their examples. Above all, it is not per force that you have to utilize status of reservation, it is optional and well established lot is already not so much interested in it. Thirdly, you are aware very poor cannot afford admission and affordability in certain institutions, it is only better for well to do to apply there so that seats do not lie vacant. The job opportunities in Government vary from Peon to the top, hence people from different financial affordability can make use of the facility. So in actual all are being benefited by the reservation policy.
