It happens only in India!
Fact remains that as per BSF Act-1968 which was enacted by the Parliament
of India; BSF had been declared as Armed Force of the Union. Subsequently,
the terminologies such as CPO, CPMF & now CAPF have been given by
the Police Officers as per their convenience. Whereas the mandate includes
war time role along with Army but the ridiculous part is Force has been
regularly been headed by a Police Man. How one can expect a Police Man
who stay on the top for an average period of 8-9 months as DG (mostly
first timer) to understand the Ops. of War & tactics, functioning
of arty weapons, administrative & logistics constraints, practical
problems faced by BSF Officers & men? It happens only in India!
Hats off to BSF Cadre officers who despite many odds have kept the Force
in high spirit.

CSS is making itself a laughing stock
By putting this type of articles CSS is making itself a laughing stock,
it used to equate themselves with IAS officers and were so proud of
themselves that they used to boast that they are running the show in
Secretariat and they are not there even for a week the system will collapse.
By their admission that they are sweeping furniture, bringing water,
typing themselves and the quality of their workmanship has eroded as
they always spend their time explaining what they have written. Real
pity on CSS. The other way of looking at it is earlier they had a feudalistic
mindset which the IAS officers have made it to international level office
environment where everybody does his own work. Great achievement dear
CSS brethren. I hope you learn a lesson and mend your ways as you reap
what you sow. Don't worry your condition is going to be worse this is
the reason why government is recruiting peons & typist otherwise
they behave in the fashion you are behaving now. Better late then never
adjust yourself to changing environment otherwise heydays are waiting
for you in future.
Ravi
Integrity doesn't pertains to caste
Integrity pertains to individual not to caste. It is a matter of chance
that sometimes officers of particular caste are more in numbers at some
places. Let us stop talking about reservation etc. enough has already
been discussed and implemented. We should talk and think about 120 crore
people otherwise they will they will ask question to all concerned and
will start doing justice on their own.

Facade of 'evaluation' process
If this is the approach, why the facade of 'evaluation' process. Let
