Will Nitish show mirrors to Modi & Mulayam as the Chief Guest of NCM today?
One can anticipate the decibels and can decipher the politics and plots when Nitish Kumar would deliver his speech on minority issues as the chief guest of National Commission for Minorities at 6.30 pm at Nehru Memorial Library, Teen Murti today. Nitish has been given the opportunity to share his views and to unfold his plans. Not too tough to anticipate that Nitish would hardly miss even a single frame of news channels in showing mirrors to Modi for his might and Mulayam for his misfortunes in Muzaffarnagar massacres. One can guess only whether the Congress has gauzed the gravity of Nitish in the emerging scenario or Nitish has found the nectar of new political equations in the emerging scenario.

Debate (1)Who will make the best Prime Minister in India ?

PM. will be charismatic as Modi ji.

Bipin Abbi

DEBATE (2)

He should be decisive & clear in his mind about India first.

DEBATE (3)

The best Prime Minister of India should be an effective mass leader having high belongingness to the country with ability/skill to deliver to the countrymen despite adverse situations.

Niranjan Nayak

Some austerity measures

(i) No government money be utilized on the travel costs of the politicians in office for campaigning purpose for the ensuing elections.

(ii) No advertisement be issued on the exchequer account for mentioning the achievement of the existing governments.

(iii) Ministers to use only 600 litre petrol per quarter in line with the Staff Car Rules. No cars to his personal staff from the government side from the Department itself or its PSUs.

(iv) The Senior Bureaucrats from the level of Joint Secretary and above should set example and use facilities as per the entitlements and not excess even if it meant from the side of a PSU.

(iv) Officers/Staff in the office of the Ministers and Secretaries should not exceed entitlement. PSU employees should be sent back.

(v) Processing of cases in Government should be made speedier leading to saving on expenditure.

(vi) Ministers and Bureaucrats should shed their feudalistic image

Plight of Senior citizens

The Senior citizens are the backbone of the society and this country. The facilities provided to them are shabby. They are paid very less pension and no house rent allowance. You can see that a simple house of 2 BHK is not less than Rs. 45 to Rs. 80 lakhs. So what a pensioner will do ? They should be given homes in the retired officers homes (to be done by the Govt). Similarly they should get at least 70 to 90 % of basic pension with HRA and other benefits. Manmohan Singh himself was a Government Servant and was designated as Economic Adviser. Why he is not interested in the welfare of senior citizens ? Many government departments seek these seniors as consultants to seek their expert advise on the matter on which they do not have experts. PM should not see it otherwise but do something to improve the plight of senior citizens in all spheres. It would be suggestive to the government to see this as a welfare project need to be implemented immediately. God bless our country

D N Yadav

Spending of CSR funds by the Companies

This present government is most inhuman towards senior citizen. See example... Senior citizens are lined up since early morning at various Delhi government Headquarters just to show their Bank Account number, Aadhar Card or other proof that they are alive to get the Old Age Pension. Human Approach should be from government side to depute their own personnel to Old Age People House to verify themselves instead of keep them waiting, rebuking them, admonishing them and refusing to entertain frequently.

An insult to India

The move to allow IAS and IPS officers free medical treatment abroad is a crazy idea and an insult to India. It is anti-national. When foreigners rush to Indian hospitals for treatment where is the need for Indians, officials or otherwise, to rush abroad for treatment? Even the wisdom of treatment of the gang rape victim in a Singapore hospital was questionable. IAS and IPS officers do not even qualify as gang rape victims. Or do they, at the hands of their political bosses? Is that why they need free medical treatment in Singapore hospitals? In that case it would be better to deal with the cause of the ailment (ministers) than the disease (fawning on ministers beyond the call of duty).

Details about NPA accounts of the bank

Information in a given format about the accounts declared NPA with balance of Rs. 10 crores and above during 20.08.09 to 20.10.11. like the current status of the various firms, and the terms of one time settlement were denied. The respondent claimed that the information pertained to the personal particulars of the account holders whose accounts had become NPA and were exempt under section 8(1)(d), 8(1)(e) and 8(1)(j) of the RTI Act. The appellant claimed that this information because of was required in view of the misuse of public money by the bank and he has been provided only the consolidated
figures about the NPA accounts. The CIC ruled that the NPA is a big issue, but from the bank's point of view, they have to maintain confidentiality norms.

Comments

Despite the NPA, the account holders continue to be the bank customers and to that extent, the confidentiality and fiduciary relationship between the bank and the customers has to be maintained.
