My views on "Who will make the best Prime Minister in India ?" in 100 words are as under

In present scenario, days of Government with absolute majority are over. Prime Minister of a Coalition Government should have spines to implement the programs once 'a common minimum program' is set in. He should be ready to step down without fear. India has enough plan and programs for the development of a country as a whole. Lacking is the will or compulsion for its implementation. For this, PM should be a political person, be decisive with clarity in his thought. Corporate World will like to have PM with such quality. English speaking gives an edge. Charisma does not last long.

Who will the best Prime Minister ?

The best Prime Minister for India for this moment will the person who say always Yes Sir/Madam and does not know anything.

What will happen If Sheila Dixit or Congress wins Delhi Election again ?

You can expect three times increase in electricity bills atleast/MCD will increase your water bills/rates of CNG supplied to residence will increase without individuals knowledge/business people in Delhi will take advantage of inflation and increase the prices of essential commodities to their will and of course distribute the extra money earned to concerned individual who are backing them

How can govt think of such discrimination ?

How can a Government think of such discriminatory treatment for only 3 services among its employees. It will not stand the scrutiny of the court on the rubrics of Art.14 of the constitution. Centre should do well to either withdraw such order or allow all employees to avail such facility. Otherwise there will be embarrassment for the government which will weigh heavily in an election year.

Employ senior citizens

I partly agree with the views on "plight of senior citizens" Instead of HRA or increased pension, I think right approach would be to use their services as Consultants on honorary retainership of just Re 1 per month, in return they can be allotted Government accommodation till they are alive. This way their long experience can be better utilized, government will save money. Giving back to society in old age when children are settled does not exist in India.

Hiring Only Married men

A certain factory had a HR policy, of hiring only married men

Concerned about this, the leader of a local Woman's Liberation Front, called on the CEO of that factory, and asked him, "Why is it that you limit your employees, to married men? Is it because you consider us women: weak, dumb, cantankerous, tantrum-throwers and/or bossy?"

That C EO replied, "Not at all, Ma'am. Our policy, is to hire staff who:-

- are used to obeying orders, without questioning
- are accustomed to being shoved around.
- know how to keep their mouths shut. And
- would put up with anything, when I yell at them.
And we found all these qualities, only in married men.

DATE WITH RTI

CPIO is not a mere post office

The appellant sought action taken by the Police officials on his complaint. During hearing, theCommission noted that the PIO had simply forwarded the reply given by SHO (deemed CPIO) to the Appellant without examining whether it contained the complete and correct information or not. The CPIO, being a statutory authority, is expected to examine the request for information and then pass a speaking order. The CIC directed the CPIO directed to examine the Appellant's complaint afresh under the relevant provision of law and then provide the factual information. The CIC observed that many
RTI applications are received seeking certain categories of information like the status of complaint; processing of complaints filed before the police and their outcome; D.D. No.; FIR No.; progress of investigation; outcome of investigation etc. The CIC asked the Commissioner of Delhi to put forth his considered views on the feasibility of placing such information on website of the public authority.

Comments

The CPIO should examine the information received from the deemed PIO and ask for clarification if the documents do not pertain to the information sought by the applicant. All public authorities may consider putting information related to frequently asked data pro-actively on the website is likely to reduce the number of applications filed with them.
