Survey--Who after Modi in 2024 ?

Who will be the BJP stalwart, or in other words, who will replace Narendra Modi after 2024 ? This question has already started haunting the politicians who believe that there is no danger to Modi till that time. Modi himself has commented, in a lighter vein, while addressing the children of the nation a couple of weeks ago.

During a chat with students on Teachers' Day, when a boy from Imphal sought advice on how to become PM, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, "Prepare for 2024 elections and invite me to your swearing in. That will ensure that till then I do not have any threat”.

Whispers team also pondered over the fact and regardless of the fact that Modi’d replacement would be a common choice of the BJP and the RSS, few names that came to it are given below. We would also like or surfers to express their opinion on the same.

All augurs well for the future
Narendra Modi is working day and night for the country. He does not believe in sycophancy, he does not have any axe to grind, he does not have any coterie, he does not believe in kitchen cabinet, he does not believe in nepotism, he has no sons or daughters or sons in law or daughters in law or brothers or brothers in law or sisters or sisters in law in tow. There is tight control over the bureaucracy, the police, the legislators and the political executive. It is only a matter of time before more and more of his ideas start taking concrete shape. The results have already started flowing in. It all augurs well for the future.

Is the govt serious about reducing Expenditure ?

1.If yes then the first thing Gov should do is to Privatise Air India. Out of 370 daily flights 361 flights of Air India are loss making. Air India suffered a loss of Rs.7,559 crore in yr 2011-12,Rs.5400 crore in 2012-13 and Rs.5,300 crore in yr 2013-14.
2.On the contrary pvt airlines are paying taxes. The gov is using taxes collected from pvt airline to fund the losses of Air India.
3.In fact the Gov policy of selling LTC tickets at huge price is an indirect way of subsidising the airline.
4.Further the Gov directive that Central Gov employees must travel by Air India is a directive which is anti competitive directive. CCI needs to look into this and strike it down.
5. It is said that it is none of the business of government to be in business, Gov should privatise/wind up Air India as soon as possible. Else I don't see that this government is any different compared to previous ones.
6. Pl stop this loot of taxpayers money, else I feel the private business is justified in stashing their money in Swiss Bank accounts.
7. Hope the advisers to PM would bring this post to the knowledge of Hon PM.

Check on CSS reqired

" Don't pamper MPs and MLAs "

The civil servants have been bending forward for the last 66 years while receiving or seeing off MLAs and MPs in their offices. Formal instructions are being issued by DOP& T year after year. Why again, this year ? Har saal, zalil kyon kiya jaata hai, babus ko ? MPs / MLAs khuda nahi hain ?Minimum courtesies must be extended to all visitors ,more so, to the poor and helpless. All must be treated at par.

DATE WITH RTI

Personal information of a government employee

The appellant asked for the service details of a teacher regarding her date of joining the service, her present residential address and her salary certificates, etc. During hearing before the CIC, the teacher submitted that the information seeker is her husband who is harassing her. She raised objection to the disclosure of information to the appellant, saying that it is her personal information. The CIC held that information about salary and official address of public servant is public in nature and shall be disclosed to any person including spouse. Salary details including deductions contained in Salary slip or certificate and residential address of the public servants is personal information, and also third party information. Only after proof of larger public interest such information also can be given. Filing of 50 RTI applications reflects the personal animosity but not public interest.

Comments

Cases where spouses are seeking information about each other are now increasingly coming to notice. They may be involved in marital disputes and cases both civil and criminal, may be filed mutually against each other. They can also seek information to help them to prove or disprove the charges. However, it must be born in mind that information unconnected with the discharge of public duties should not be provided unless the disclosure establishes a larger public interest.
