What is the character of Narendra Modi ? (DEBATE 1)

Modi's strength is that he is a leader, unlike reluctant princes who abhor leadership. He is honest, unlike the scamsters who keep making fast bucks in the name of backwards and dalits. He has a vision unlike the so called secularists whose vision is blurred by vote banks. Unlike those in politics who keep furthering their corporate interests, he has national interest in mind. He talks of development, not of caste and religion. He may have shortcomings, he may not be perfect. But he has a track record of governing and delivering which others do not have.

What is the character of Narendra Modi ? (DEBATE 2)

My views are: "A MAN WITH VISION, SPIRIT, POSITIVE THINKING, WILL POWER AND NATIONAL SPIRIT".

Ved Prakash Rustagi

My phone rang as soon as the Prime minister finished his address from the red Fort"Did you hear Mr. Modi's Speech?"The caller asked.

"Yes ,I have"
"Was it not simply Superb, grand and fantastic"?
" What did you like about it?'I asked the caller.

'Everything, the way he spoke, the things he spoke about, the toilet in schools, cleanliness, Made in India tag, model villages. These are very important and yes of course, I liked his turban too." This was my 13-year old grandson who was excited after listening to Modi. I thought his was a better take on Modi's first independence day speech than many of the Congress-wallahs and leftists who found it pedestrian. Why cannot our politicians be graceful in praising where praise is due even if the person is a staunch opponent.

Order disposing the review petition against dismissal

The Appellant was an employee of the Bank and was dismissed from service in 2001. He had filed a review petition, which was disposed of. He sought a copy of the original order signed by the Reviewing Authority to dispose of his review petition. It was denied by the Public Information Officer (PIO) under Section 8(1)(d) and Section 8(1)(e) of the RTI Act, on the ground that it was internal and confidential information. The Appellant submitted that he is entitled to receive the information sought by him and wants to be sure that his review petition was disposed of by the competent reviewing authority. The CIC observed that it is not apparent how disclosure of this information can harm the competitive position of the Bank or of a third party. The CIC held that Section 8(1)(e) is not relevant because the Appellant is asking for information regarding disposal of his own Review Petition and not that of a third party.

Comments

If information pertains to an individual, it would be difficult for a PIO to deny to the same individual claiming it as personal or fiduciary information of a third party.
