DEBATE (1)

AAP will be more stronger then what it is today. It is a figment of imagination of certain corrupt and paid media that it will not survive.

DEBATE (2)

The AAP party founders utilised the strength of ANNA HAZARE, a soldier of the Indian Army, to gain public prominence. On gaining such notice in the public eyes they deceitfully discarded his principles and dumped him. That is the quality of these founders of the AAP party, deceit. They then decided to focus on DELHI assembly elections and gained a vote share of around 28percent of the population, not a majority. They lied to the people of Delhi that they would not form a govt. with Congress assistance, but their hunger for power was overwhelming and they succumbed to their desires to gain personal power. Promptly all measures to expose the Congress party was forgotten for all the scams written in their manifesto. Now they have created anarchy in the life of Delhiites. Next plan shift focus quickly, to the Lok Sabha general elections, and divert attention of the people from their failures and mis-governance. AAP leadership has declared their intention of fighting 350 seats in the general elections!! Now each MP seat election costs around Rs5 crores, so 350 seats requires 5x 350 =1750 crores!! A party which was conceived a few months ago can muster funds of this calibre? Wondering which sources are being tapped and what compromises are they offering NOW, to get funded. So is this in India's or Indians interests??? It is a known fact that our country is the destination of tomorrow, but in this fashion, what kind of governance or national security will Indians get!! AAP will enslave us all for another 1000 years with their misguided Marxist- Leninist thinking of our economy. They will bring back license raj!! Better to dump them now at the national hustings, before they hurt us all. They are past masters at anarchy only, with little thinking or stamina to solve Indians problems in the 21st century.

No IRS men ?

Parantap Chandurkar

Give them extra privilege

For those having done Post graduation in professional courses or a PhD in some subject, may be allowed an extra year in service by extending their retirement age to 61 years. This would enthuse all engineering, medical, law graduation, management , MA, M.Sc PhD students also as they would see better respectability and benefit in their higher studies. Number of such students is more than one crore. With 15 lakh engineering graduates passing out every year from a four year degree course, number of student in engineering course alone is 60 lakhs.

All candidates who sit or aspire to sit for government or PSU jobs shall also be enthused. Employees shall also see a possibility in their own higher education which has now been enabled by government by opening many varsities. This will fetch a large number of votes from one crore families in election year without displeasing anyone. This also gives additional shine to government image as it values higher education.

Mani.

Are there any specific rules?

Is there any time period given by DoPT for Section Officers qualified in the Limited Departmental Examination of UPSC to join duty. Are there any specific rules? Or can they keep seeking extension every 3 months or so, citing personal reasons. Hope DOPT will awake and issue orders to put an end to this anomaly.

DATE WITH RTI

Nomination of Sachin Tendulkar to the Rajya Sabha

Information about Rajya Sabha nominations was denied by the Public Information Officer (PIO) on the plea that these did not come under the purview of section 2(f) of the RTI Act. The appellant contended that he only sought to know who had proposed the name of Shri Sachin Tendulkar for membership of the Rajya Sabha; and whether any other names were proposed for the same purpose. The PIO submitted that the appellant has filed various RTI applications and before coming for hearing, they were not sure about the points being raised in the present case. The Central Information Commission (CIC) directed the respondent to provide the information to the appellant as available within 30 days of the order.

Comments

There are many cases where an applicant files a number of applications on a similar issue. The public authority must have a system in place to keep track of the applications on an individual basis so that the decision of the PIO can be defended in a proper manner before the CIC.
