State of the Nation....

My day off and I'm enjoying watching TV and my Cuppa ....in walks Bahadur ...domestic help ...and just keeps standing ....

Me: (translated for convenience)... What do you want ...if you want to watch TV just do it sitting ... get your tea here ... is your fav WWF Wrestling on..

Bahadur: No Sahab ji... from today I'm on strike ...

M: Why what happened ...did Madam get angry with you.. ... did Napoleon snap at you ..

B: Nahi Sahab no problems ...its bahar ka issue .... you see Cops have arrested the Servant in the house you call Ajeeb Bangla (the paint job outside) for robbery ...we are protesting his arrest..

M: Isn't he the guy who wanted to do part time washing of neighbor's cars ...but you advised neighbor to say no... you said he's a thief....and you adviced me to be careful if he came to me ..

B: That's okay ....but we are protesting as this guy was like a Dadaa amongst us...

M: But he's a thief .... is there truth in what the Cops have charged him...

B: (whispering)...Yes....

M: So then why protest ....he's giving you guys a bad name. ..

B: Boss you know that Neta's servants who loiter outside all the time ... well they are friends with this Dadaa and they said their Boss has advised ...new way to stop law in India is to protest ... and with protest make wild allegations .. we will say Ajeeb House guy has gambling sessions inside....

M: He does play Bridge ...but no gambing...I think it's gonna backfire badly ...now you don't get involved ....stay in the background ...you can be on strike for them.. but work inside or I will kick you so hard you will land in Nepal ( I've brought up this guy and is like a kid to me)...

I take a Cab to go to the Market...

Cabby: Sir ji from tomorrow we are going off the roads. .. strike

Me: Now what happened ...

C: Traffic Police are coming out with new rules ...the rules are good and will be good for us and customers ...but they are not agreeing to withdraw/cancel all the previous Cases/Challans against us...

Me: Aren't you guys being unfair ... some of the Cases/Challans would be for serious offences ...

C: Who cares... see the Maahol in the Country ...if Political Parties can stop the Nation for their personal issues ... why not us ...or only those who are powerful can do this ...

Reach back home and sit in my fav chair and return to watching TV..

Napoleon ( my intelligent talking dog): Boss I'm getting a part time job...

M: Before I say anything please educate me further ...

N: See my breed is known to be intelligent ..ferocious .... you know that Neta ... his Pomeranian has offered me a part time job... you will have to let me out at 6 am and I will return at 9 am...

M: Don't say another word .. you will be the Early Warning cum Deterrent at the Neta's home .. during the hours that raids usually start ...

N: I'll be paid in my fav Tandoori Chicken ....

M: NO

N: Then like I see on TV News ... I am gonna protest ...whenever anyone at home starts to talk I will bark my head off ...you all won't be able to hear each other ...

M: Where do you get this idea Mutt...

N: TV .... News .... I'm usually at your feet hearing you lament ...that place where people shout ... and a person sitting on a big Chair says ... work stopped ... come back after some time .. and then the place closes down for the day....

M: (lament to myself).... From today News Channels are banned here .... and will take up banning with RWA too ....we can't let all this enter our homes ....

Climate change and hypocrisy of Indian govt.

The government of India will agree to ratify any short of legislation compelled by world community, because they know that back in India they will not implement even after making laws. similar is the case of biodiversity conservation which is the only tool for carbon sequestration, India has made biodiversity conservation act 2002 but did not try to implement even today because it is not populist. If this act has been implemented, National biodiversity authority would have got Rs 10000 crore rupees every year from MNCs utilizing bio resources of India but Govt of India could not appoint full time chairman in 2yrs what to talk of implementing. It is also not being implemented in states because of lack of guidelines from center and all state together are loosing 25000crore of rupees every year.
Will PMO look into this matter ? Climate change is real threat to world so we should be serious and awaken the people for adaptation.

We are not serious rather we are hypocrates and try not to implement whatever is possible.

Transparency in Railways !

In this era of transprency, no information/list is available today regarding the officers to be promoted to GMs grade, SAG to HAG or JA to SG and from SS to JAG. This I am talking of those posts which are filled by Board. Though list of non-gazd. persons are available on many zonal sites, but gazetted seniority lists are not available on most zonal Rlys ,except for 2-3 railways.

I wish to point out that only official Associations site in not updated , even the official sites are not updated. Many of the zonal sites are showing information pertaining to the year 2012 or 13 even. Even Railway Bds site is showing the classified list of gazetted officers as on 01.01.2005 only. Many of the sites cannot be viewed specially the sites pertaining to Railtel cannot be opened out of Railway computers. Sae is the case of RBE circulars, which are totally outdated.
