POLITICS

This is History (130)
Akbar was a wise despot and he worked hard for the welfare of the Indian people.

Similarity between Modi and Nitish !
What is the similarity between the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar ? Both do not have any 'Virasat'

Who is calling the shots in HRD Ministry ?

Who is calling the shots in the HRD Ministry in the Government of India ? Answer to this question came from a top official of the ministry "None. Only Smriti Irani".

Abh aayi hai India ki baari....
I hear this is an unscheduled trip by Aunty!
Theme is ....Why can't he?

She's giving her bonny boy a chance!
To change the Public's stance!

Personally I feel Mr Gaffe will dissapoint!
Some advisors advice her Beti ko karro annoint!

Make her Congi Presi and let Beta travel!!
At Aunty's faith in her Beta many marvel!

MPs if they are going to quote a Media Report!
Quote ke saath provide karro due diligence support!

Shouldn't MPs do due diligence if they use a Media report!
Check out if anything Media did distort!

Especially on issues that are very touchy!
MPs must check out ...Report Kitni hai sachchi!

Mere allegations should not be made!
Proof to make Parliament Grade !

Like if a MP says ..not allowed to enter a religious place!
With allegation proof karro on Table place!

Otherwise in this intolerance charade!
Allegations by the dozen will be made!

For those who question Modi's overseas trips!
Will now come to grips!

His trip to Paris should correct their wrong stand!
As again very tall he's made India stand!

Made it clear ... we did not start it!
But as a Developing Nation ..we will do our bit!

Developing Nations developed and environment paid!
So a dubious role they played!

India has to develop but unlike you all!
We will irresponsibly not have a ball!

At the cost of Mother Nature!
Indianness gives Mother Nature a special stature!

And Statesmanship of Modi was on show!
Some in Media feel slighted as 'they were not in the know'!

Talking about Modi and Nawaz 120 second chat!
He put all his baiters on the mat!

He stepped up and spoke to Nawaz!
Nawaz was taken aback ..nahi nikal rahi thi uss ki aawaz!

After a long time a Leader who leads by example!
On Democracy and it's Institutions does not trample!

Modi - a leader India has been waiting for !
I find it difficult to imagine what we would be doing today without Modi as PM. He is energetic and he has ideas. He has a vision for India. He wants to take India forward. He wants to make India great. Would Laluji be a better negotiator than Modi at Paris ? Would Nitish Kumar be a better interlocutor with Nawaz Sharif ? Would the Jan Dhan Yojana have been better conceptualized or implemented by Mayawatiji ? Would Sukanya Samridhhi Yojana have been better thought out by Mamta Banerjee ? Would mega corruption have come under control by Rahulji ? Kejriwalji could have talked more on the FM radio, Laluji would have been more voluble, Nitishji would have been more acceptable to the Congress, Soniaji would have been a better choice for those who want to return awards, but it is Modi, who is the leader India has been waiting for. Trivialising him as suit boot ki Sarkar and ten lakh ka suit, NRI Prime Minister and event manager may be easy, but one cannot lose sight of the fact that he is actually the best of the lot, among all our men and women of destiny. Intolerance, Amir Khan, Shahrukh Khan, Laluji, Nitishji, Soniaji, Mamtadi, Left, Socialism, Communism, Rahulji, Vadraji, Mani Aiyarji, Jairam Rameshji, Kejriwalji, Shatrughan Sinha, L K Advaniji, you name it...the frequent flier is at the centre of the common thread between these disparate entities! In India, there are many interest groups. Most of these have been in place for long and also have their own interests. These interests sometimes gang up and get the better of Modiji. Be that as it may, it would be in the national interest if Modiji could keep at his job of ensuring that his vision of making India great is a reality.

Whispers - very useful for higher authorities

Whispers website is very much useful for higher authorities to gauge bureaucratic development on transfer posting manner. It needs to give more attention on fair and transparent appointment of Chief Vigilance Officers in various department/ PSUs/ autonomus bodies. PM also needs to give more attention to avoid present pick and choose method of Ministers who prefer their favouarable candidates. The need is fair filling of post on merit basis only or to develop some criteria for best candidate.

Disclosure of the name of the whistle blower under PIDPI

The appellant filed a complaint related to malpractices in purchase of medical material like Fumy floor solution, Multipurpose cleaning solution etc. to the CVC. He stated that after the receipt of the complaint, the CVC had sent a letter to him seeking the identity. The envelope containing that letter was superscribed as "Public Interest Disclosure & Protection of Informer Resolution (PIDPI)". In spite of this, the envelope was opened by the then Medical Superintendent because of which his identity and name was unnecessarily revealed. He sought to know whether the confidential letters in favour of any doctor/employee can be opened by the medical superintendent of the hospital and related information. The CIC issued a show cause to the PIO to show-cause why penalty should not be imposed on him for not furnishing the information within the prescribed period and why compensation should not be awarded to the appellant.

Comments

The PIDPI requires the Competent Authority to conceal the identity of the complainant and the documents or information furnished by him, for the purposes of enquiry under this Act. Hence, the officers and staff should be careful about which envelopes to be opened and by whom.
