Kiran Bedi is arrogant and publicity seeker !
I entirely agree with Jaiswal regarding Kiran Bedi. She is arrogant
and a publicity seeker. She has also claimed full air fare when she
was entitled to concessional fares.

Delhi election as trendsetter
True. Delhi election will be trend setter. Modi Government has completed
8 months in office. None of the Delhi BJP MP are visible except the
places where Modi is addressing. At centre it is ONLY Modi. Cabinet
ministers are seldom visible. Condition of roads are pathetic across
India. Generally a Govt rules 4 years it means 20% time is passed in
gossiping itself. I was travelling from Meerut to Delhi by road. It
looks the Government has only one person that is Hon'ble PM only.
Murari Chaturvedi
Over stressing on Modi's charisma could be counter productive
By over stressing and depending on Modi's charisma day in and day out,
BJP is missing the fact that it is the colossal corruption, black money
and misgovernance of the UPA government that has mainly brought them
to power. This has resulted in the total centralisation of power in
Modi with most of his cabinet colleagues looking like School boys. Nothing
has been heard about bringing back black money other than harping on
the UPA's theme of double taxes. No important postings are done without
Modi's concurrence even though selection processes are completed months
ago.Important posts like CIC,CVC etc are lying vacant for months. Appellate
tribunal for Competetion commission has not been constituted for months
with the result that in the absence of the tribunal, beneficiaries are
enjoying stay orders from HCs. So also are the Chairmanship of AERC
and others. The Cabinet Secretary and Home Secretary are all on extension
with no replacement for them in sight. All are in limbo waiting for
Modi's nod while Modi is busy trying to get an international halo around
him. He finds time to visit international capitals but has no time to
visit Indian states. This over confidence has resulted in a cadre party
like BJP putting a rank opportunist Kiran Bedi as Delhi CM candidate
at the last moment and BJP is going to pay heavily for it. The sand
is slowly drifting away from their feet. Sooner they realise it, it
will be better for them.

Information related to ongoing trial
The Appellant sought copies of all correspondence exchanged between
the bank and CBI / CVC/ other government departments, along with
office note with regard to certain allegations levelled against
her and the sanction sought by the CBI for her prosecution. The
Public Information Officer (PIO) denied the above information
on the ground that it was regarding CBI investigation pending
prosecution and its disclosure was likely to hamper the progress
in the steps being initiated by the agency. The respondents added
that the matter concerning the Appellant is now before a CBI court.
The Central Information Commission (CIC) upheld the denial holding
that once the stage of an order framing charges have been crossed,
it would be open to the accused to make an appropriate application
before the learned trial court to summon the above documents in
accordance with the law.
Comments
A document may be available with one public authority and copies
of the same may be available with other public authorities. In
such situations, there is a confusion which public authority should
take a decision regarding the disclosure of information. Under
the RTI Act, the right to access the information is that which
is "under the control of" which implies that the information,
regardless of which public authority holds it, is under the control
of a specific public authority on whose orders alone it can be
produced in a given proceeding. In case of an ongoing court proceeding,
the documents related to the proceedings are under the control
of the Trial Court, who alone can decide how the information is
to be dispensed.
