This year, for the first time the awards were being given for the implementation of priority programmes of the Central Government. According to Cabinet Secretary an elaborate exercise including site visits, has been conducted to short list the awarded districts. These awards were given by the PM in Civil Services Day, on Thursday in Delhi.

Put gross pay of all officers on-line

Why can't the government put the gross pay of all the officers on-line ? It is already fixed for every rank and there is nothing to hide. This will save numerous RTI Applications and unnecessary appeals. I don't think anybody who can implement it would care to read this order.
