Accept legal position
Delhi CM Kejriwal knew the limited powers of Delhi Government before
assuming the office of CM .Instead of working within the powers he enjoys
,he keeps on grumbling and criticize Central Govt .for all his problems
.Unfortunately there are large number of print/electronic media who
are giving him undue publicity .It is time that he accepts the legal
position of CM ,Delhi and concentrate on problems of Delhi.

No uniformity in PF interest rates!
Government has many provident/pension schemes like PPF, GPF, EPF/CPF,
NPS but there is no uniformity in interest rates and the public is completely
confused. Govt. creates differential treatment and not able to justify
the different interest rates on similar scheme. Why Govt. cannot fix
the same interest rates for all these schemes and option is left to
public to select the scheme best fits to his requirement. PPF interest
rates have been reduced to 8.1% from April 2016 where Finance Ministry
has approved EPF interest rates to 8.7%. Why so? Please approve the
same interest rates at least for PPF, GPF, EPF/CPF, there should not
be any differential/discriminatory rates. Follow the same rules for
all the similar products.

Missing log book
The appellant sought a copy of log book of an office vehicle.
It was denied claiming that the log book was missing and hence
the copy could not be provided. The CIC noticed that the driver
had claimed about loss of log book after RTI application was filed
and no action was taken against the driver for the loss of log
book. The Commission noticed that the Manager, HR had not taken
any major initiative or effort to trace the log book and conveniently
facilitated the transfer of the driver, who had happily escaped
from any liability for the loss of log book. Holding that such
an act indicated such suspicion that office did not want to disclose
the log book, the CIC issued a show cause to the PIO why maximum
penalty should not imposed against him for raising illegal defence
of a missing log book. The CIC awarded a compensation of Rs. 5000/-
to the appellant for denying information.
Comments
Whenever a document is missing, action needs to be initiated immediately
to trace it out. A public record should be kept properly and responsibility
should be fixed for any mislaid records.
