POLITICS

This is History (464)

The Tsar Nicholas II started talk of peace. It seems almost a joke that he sould talk of peace. But probably he was honest about it,for peace to him meant a perpetuation of existing conditions and his own autocracy.

You can't avoid Modi !

It is now becoming clear with each passing day that love him or hate him but you can't ignore Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Bandh mutti laakh ki. ...

Baba ji yeh kaisa Quake!
Don't you know what was SC's take? ??
SC told Bhushan..we need more!!
Baba kyon karr raha hai bore!!
Yes you said read my lips because!!
No proof was the cause!!
In Court what would a Judge say!!
Would show you bahar jaane ka way!!
Yes you can go about UP saying read my lips!!
In UP every day Congress dips!
Yes Modi ji when Baba was a kid!!
And in his mutti his so said talents hid!!
Everyone expected a lot from him!!
But jabh mutti khulli the concensus was he's dim!!
Fitting the adage : bandh mutti laak ki,
Kull gayi toh khaak ki!!
Very soon even his ardent followers went mum!!
Aside they'd say Baba mein nahi hai dumm!!
But problem is Baba thinks he's the gifted one!!
Congis have to play along as he's Sonia's son!!
The day he takes over !!
Many Congis will run for cover!!
Fearing this Sonia continues as High Command!!
It's on popular demand !!
If she had a capable heir in place!!
She'd have first made the person Congress's face!!
And then she'd have handed over and retired!!!
One look at her now and you realize she's unwell and tired!
Don't you think she would like to take it easy!!
For her it's always been stormy or breezy!!
Today Cash position has improved even more!!
Yes like old days Cash RBI will not pour!!
Modi is living up to his 50 day vow!!
Job of Income Tax now!!
Why is Didi angry because TN CS was raided!!
Raid as an attack on States she's translated!!
Using idiotic analogies she's attacked Centre!!
Actually now wants to be Centre's Tormentor!!
She wants to be the Leader of the anti BJP lot!!
So a silent battle between her and Baba being fought!!
She knows she stands a good chance!!
And so 24x7 she does anti Centre war dance!!
She knows Rahul is not taken seriously!!
And he gets more ticked off as he behaves imperiously!!
Confucius says : True Leaders don't parachute to the top!!
And till they don't achieve their goal they don't stop!!

Information with accurate selection only on 'whispers in the corridors'

There are many news channels but information with accurate selection is posted by whispers in the corridors only!
By fluke I was introduced to this divine portal because it has improved my understanding of red tapism in India dramatically!
Thanks a lot !

The portal design is good and can be seen very clearly on mobile as well!
A small request : can this happen that everyday 5 suggestions from all portal viewers especially budding or existing or ex bureaucrats be listed on prestigious whispers in the corridors website? This would earn the website a prestigious place in policy planning!
The suggestions should focus on small doable points of action like usage of e-greetings by ministries etc. during seasonal greetings! Cost savings and lowering of fiscal deficit is intended by this move!
Thanks for everything till date....... Hope you guys continue to rock the lands of bureaucracy....... My best wishes.........
Regards

Grievance of a railway pass holder

A retired Master Craftsman claimed that despite being eligible for first class pass, the Railways had not been honouring several clauses related to the journey performed by a pass holder. He sought Information regarding rules relating to privilege passes issued to railway employees. The Commission observed that under the provisions of the RTI Act, 2005, only such information as is available and existing and held by the public authority or is under control of the public authority can be provided. The PIO is not supposed to create information that is not a part of the record. He is also not required to interpret information or furnish replies to hypothetical questions. Similarly, redressal of grievance, reasons for non-compliance of rules /contesting the actions of the respondent public authority are outside the purview of the Act. Further, the CIC observed that the appeal relates to the grievance of the retired employee regarding utilization of railway passes and lack of awareness and sensitization of the work force dealing with such matters. This aspect needs to be re-examined by the competent authority to provide relief and succour to the affected retired employees in an objective and transparent manner.

Comments

Even though the redressal of grievance is outside the purview of the RTI Act, it has been frequently used to obtain some relief. The Information Commission has been sympathetic to injustice metered through a system which is not objective or opaque.
