Lever pulling baaki hai ..

I take the 5.13 Andheri Fast...pick up my Midday Paper and Coffees and Muffins ...today it's my treat ..my train buddies are waiting for me in our regular seats ...regular compartment ..
Amar: Bhai logh digital hooe ke nahi..
Akbar: Arre Modi's not being pragmatic ....Cashless India is an impossibility ..
Me: But who told you Modi is aiming for 100% Cashless India..today our Digital transactions stand at a woeful 2% and I think a jump to about 20-25 % would suffice for now ...
Amar: I tell you so much disinformation being spread ....now the Nay - Sayers trying to show Digital Money is totally unsafe ...
Me: There is no doubt it can not be 100% safe .....but as long as you are careful and don't share info with anyone the chances of hacking are minimal .....and then there us constant upgradation of security going on ...its a continous process ...
Akbar: Many Muslims don't Bank ...
Amar: Toh Bank karro ...keep up with the times with ingenuity ....donate the interest you earn ... aur you are saying this ...Motta Bhai he has the max Debit and Credit Cards amongst us ...
Antony: Modi is saying he wants to cripple Corruption and Rahul has made some very serious charges pertaining to Modi ..
Me: SC termed the papers Rahul is basing his charges as frivolous....in fact his so said earthquake has shaken whatever little trust people had in him..
Amar: And there is some dal mein kaala ....because on SM there are pics of Rahul in an SUV going to file nomination papers and the SUV belonged to Sahara..
Me: Like Congress and AAP keep chanting Ambani and Adani ....but check out under which Government did they get max loans ..
Amar: And it's in this Government's stint that Corporates are selling of Assets to settle loans ...never happened before now...
Akbar: This Government let Mallya and Lalit Modi run away ..
Me: During Lalit's rise and peak who was he close to and which Government was in power ...as for Mallya which Government was in power when he got loans and some allegedly in a questionable manner ...
Antony : But Mallya got away ...
Amar: He hoodwinked an Official at the Airport ... its under investigation .....someone gets a second Passport made in an assumed name ....its illegal ...will you blame MEA or PMO ...or the Officials issuing the Passport ..... such things take place in Countries having the most advanced security systems ...
Me: And by the way now Bankers say they don't get orders from Delhi on loans and waivers etc. ... I think BJP should take out ads that give the facts ...Sachchee Baat ...
Antony : How apt what Rahul said in HP..Modi has thrown HAT off Himachal...Horticulture ..Agriculture ..Tourism
Me: Actually Modi's spin has tricked the BAT ...Blackeeyas and Tricksters....and those who aided ..abetted and benefitted from them ...
Amar: Like you said ...BJP should give Fact Check ads ....on Mallya... Suit Boot ki Sarkar ...and other oft repeated empty charges ...
Antony: Say what you want there is pain everywhere because of Demonitisation. .
Akbar: And remember what MMS ji said ... Demonitisation is organised loot and plunder ..
Me: MMS .... CWG, 2G, Coalgate etc etc ...waale... kiss mooh se bollte hai MMS ji ......loot and plunder was then....gandh ke aadi ko sabh gandh lagtha hai..
Amar: And pain is just temporary .... election after election post Demonitisation Indians have said ....we are with Modi ....indicating we will bear the pain..
Me: Congress will soon realize ...its 'Give a Bad Name and Hang' does not work any longer ...Public has already accepted Congress has a Bad Name and has prepared for Congress's hanging in the last General Elections ...next General Election ..the lever shall be pulled ...

Rahul Gandhi - can be the trendsetter ?

RG you are having a pretty good experience of Politics as well a very balanced approach you follow , using your charismatic power one wonder you have to do is motivate your congress man ALWAYS & forever until you are placed in the power . No matter how bad the party man has done in previous (Dishonesty, Losers, anti-approach etc), He still has the charisma to convert the public in your favor (100%). You listen now & act later, Motivate now & react later, things will start changing all over the country & the Team will be much stronger. Don't take opinion before meeting your members instead give them a new approach as how we will be heading in the new India. You are in the center, talk to every elected member, previous strongman's on phone and assign them their duties. Your sweetness, patience and trust can make a huge difference. Your state wise spokesman's should be louder & more active than you. Best wishes

" Ashwathama of Indian bureaucracy"

A silent majority of Indian bureaucrats comprises of quiet performers. Honest and least bothered about wooing the political class. Such high-octane top bureaucrats diligently pay income tax with no desire to own assets disproportionate to their known sources of income unlike the former Tamil Nadu Chief Secretary. On the contrary, there is a vocal minority of high-ranking bureaucrats - smart, flamboyant, obsessed with keeping their hierarchical superiors and the political class in good humour. Their careers are assured long after retirement. This was quite common under UPA regime. Things have not changed. Not even marginally. Strange but true, some ex-bureaucrats have managed to sneak into present ruling dispensation and prosper - hopping from one sinecure to another. They never retire from public service and loose their comfort zones. They are evergreen Field Marshals of manipulative bureaucracy. Merit, as always, becomes the casualty.

Grievance of a railway pass holder

A retired Master Craftsman claimed that despite being eligible for first class pass, the Railways had not been honouring several clauses related to the journey performed by a pass holder. He sought Information regarding rules relating to privilege passes issued to railway employees. The Commission observed that under the provisions of the RTI Act, 2005, only such information as is available and existing and held by the public authority or is under control of the public authority can be provided. The PIO is not supposed to create information that is not a part of the record. He is also not required to interpret information or furnish replies to hypothetical questions. Similarly, redressal of grievance, reasons for non-compliance of rules /contesting the actions of the respondent public authority are outside the purview of the Act. Further, the CIC observed that the appeal relates to the grievance of the retired employee regarding utilization of railway passes and lack of awareness and sensitization of the work force dealing with such matters. This aspect needs to be re-examined by the competent authority to provide relief and succour to the affected retired employees in an objective and transparent manner.

Comments

Even though the redressal of grievance is outside the purview of the RTI Act, it has been frequently used to obtain some relief. The Information Commission has been sympathetic to injustice metered through a system which is not objective or opaque.
