Sabar ka fruit meeta meeta....

I am back in Shimla and I meet my respected friend , a Retired Senior Bureaucrat and we pick up a couple of soups and start walking towards Scandal Point and as is usual we start chatting.
Me: Sir what is your opinion on Demonetization!
Respected Friend: It's a fantastic step… a game changer…. but a step that will cause temporary pain!!!
M: It's not as if Public is queuing up for the first time…. from cricket matches to lines of water...lines for LPG … Indians have been standing in queues for various reasons….
RF: And this time it's for the Nation.
M: I just heard Mamtha and Kejriwal have given the Government three days for withdrawal of 500 and 1000 currency notes Order!!!
RF: It's all political positioning ….. Mamtha is a State Leader at the most….. her worry is Modi's growing stature in West Bengal…. and Kejriwal will join anyone who is Publically challenging Modi!!! And later I hear they changed it to ...resolve the cash crisis in 3 days...
M: In fact Delhi is paying for Kejriwal's Modi fixation!!!! Thank God there is the Lt. Governor!!!!
RF: There is a Newton's Law for Kejriwal ….. for every action by Modi there is an equal and opposite reaction by Kejriwal!!!! He's simply lost his bearings!!!
M: Every day the Government is introducing new rules or amending rules on withdrawal of 500 and 1000 notes!!
RF: Yes and this is how a Government that has its ears to the ground would react …. that is if it has Public's interest close to its heart!!!
M: Yes …. today Government has addressed the woes of Farmers…. those getting married… and some other issues!!!
RF: But I am sure Opposition will say it's a poorly planned decision!!! Well viewing the secrecy requirements this was inevitable …...had there been planning this would have been an exercise in futility as info would have leaked... the Government's constant monitoring and reacting to needs of the Public have lessened the pressures!!!
M: I was watching the News and on one Channel the Interviewer interviewing those standing in a line outside a Bank in Delhi literally was trying that they criticize this step by the Government…. like ….you have to come here and stand in line and then go to work….. while you stand in line the rich are sitting at home!! And the people in line just kept telling her that they did not mind the inconvenience …. but this Lady Interviewer just would not give up…. it's as if she was under Orders….get them to criticize the step taken by the Government!!!
RF: Arre the honest are just facing inconvenience….. the dishonest are crying tears of blood….. you maybe stinking rich …. but if you find in your wallet lesser currency than you had calculated you spend hours racking your memory… what have I missed out…… did I have this much money in my wallet in the morning to start with….have I lost some money ... now they see their money turning to waste paper...so you can imagine the state of their minds!!
M: I hear Rahul Baba visited another Bank ….
RF: Sad to see him make a clown of himself!!! He started with such hope and today Indians have written him off!!!
M: I hear Congress is saying in April via a Newspaper article the message was sent to BJP Leaders, cadres and supporters that a Note Withdrawal Step was on the anvil!!
RF: Yes I heard of this…. but it was a April Fool joke ….. and anyway Newspapers are read by everyone … so where is the question of letting a selected lot know!!! As I see it Congress is scraping the barrel!!
M: The Joke doing the rounds is when Modi says… Mitrro… or Bhaiyo aur Beheno…. Many in the Opposition run to the loo shouting…. abh kyaa bollega Modi!!
RF: Well I think they should make their loos comfy…. because they are going to spend a lot of time in the loo…. Modi is working to a game plan…. to eradicate Black Money …. and soon the Public who have suffered 'collateral damage' will enjoy 'collateral benefits' .....only the Honest Tax Payers…. it will play out soon!!! Post Gain its only natural to reward those who have faced for the gain a lot of pain…. natural justice!!!

Open letter to Donald Trump

Dear Trump,

Congratulations.

By the reaction in some parts of the world media, you have stomped on their tails.I wonder why they are so het up. America has spoken. I wonder why they cannot understand the anti incumbency factor (eight years of Democrats is sufficient to make people want to change it).

The minorities (as defined in America) are demonstrably restive about your presidency. I wonder why. No minority has the right to reject a democratic verdict. If they wish to protest specific issues, they can do so peacefully, but how can they protest against a democratic verdict? After all, it is that very democracy which ensures their rights that has elected you.
All those looking forward to an immigrant future in America are uneasy. I wonder why. America and Americans have the perfect right to decide who they wish to let in and who they wish to keep out. Illegal immigration stresses American society and systems unlawfully and unfairly.

There are some who feel your policies might impact their healthcare. But no country can have unsustainable systems. If a country decides to review its systems in order to have financially stable schemes, what is wrong with that?

You want a great America. How can a great America be against the interests of the rest of the world?

There are some who question some of your actions in the past. The same people stood beside Mr Clinton who had similar allegations against him, that were worse in degree. If that is not hypocritical, what is?

Some in India have a view that you and/ or your voters lack an education and a world view. It is too presumptuous of them. Not having gone to college (which is expensive in America and anyway is not required for everybody) does not mean one is illiterate. A good high school education is sufficient to understand issues. They also ignore the facts that you not only have a college education, you are also a business leader of repute with a fortune worth billions of dollars.
Merely because you do not share their world view does not mean you do not have a world view, or that it is all wrong.
Congratulations once again.

Best of luck.

Will Najeeb Jung take steps to curb pollution ?

Najeeb Jung of the IAS is today Lt Governor of Delhi. He is not a politician. He has all the powers in Delhi. Will he take steps to ensure that pollution levels in Delhi are brought down from the dangerous levels they are at currently? Or will we wait for the next crisis ?

Difference in years while empanelling is inevitable

Top rankers select IAS as their first choice for early advancement in civil services and other service people are allowed to rewrite the civil service exams to give them the opportunity to get into IAS. Naturally there will be difference in years while empanelling although one might have passed the civil services exam in the same year.

Congratulation to PM

Demonetisation of Rs 1000 & Rs 500 notes has created indirect employment to youth. The black money hoarders are engaging unemployed youth to stand in que at banks and post offices, railway station etc. There is no law and order problem since November 9, 2016. The traffic has been reduced and pollution in New Delhiand places has been reduced. These data can be collected by Govt and put on the table of parliament. Also, there are no rallies. Also, Govt should made GPS based swiping machines compulsory at each and every kirana shops, subji shops etc, where cashless transactions can be possible. It is easy. If PM calls me, I can Make presentation about ground reality. I am one of the sufferers of corruption.
