What people say about us!

Your contribution to the nation-(Bhupender Kumar ) Did Modi take lead from Whispersinthecorridors Forum column dated February 15, 2010 ?

Corruption and currency of 1000 and 500 notes

So the solution lies not in raiding 5-10 officers but in removing currency of notes of thousand and five hundred Rupee from the circulation. There should be smaller notes of 5,10,20,50 and maximum 100 rupees in India.
If the above is implemented then corruption will be eradicated conveniently. There will not be any need for raiding the premises of powerful bureaucrats and politicians. Because if one officer wants to take a bribe of 1 crore - he will have to build a big godown to store 1 crore Rupees of denomination of 50-100 notes. And the one who will give 1 crore bribe will have to hire 5 trucks to transport it to the officer! With this fake currency will also be eliminated - since nobody would risk printing 50 rupee note and get caught.

Therefore, through this esteemed website, may I request the readers as well as the authorities concerned to take immediate steps to stop printing one thousand and five hundred rupee notes and take back the notes of these denominations from the public by exchanging with smaller notes within a short span of time. India is a rich country with poor people - let its people be rich as well.

I request Whisper corridors to start a discussion on the above so that people can exchange their views on stopping the notes of 1000 and 500 Rupees, in the interest of common man of India.

POLITICS

This is History (436)
Abdul Hamid II had a reputation for playing off the great powers against one another.

No one happy with Modi these days

Country may be happy but these days no one, including those belonging to the BJP, are happy with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

No member of "Marg Darshak Mandal" as President ?

This is almost clear that under the present circumstances no member of the "BJP Marg Darshak Mandal" will be next President of India.

This is difference between Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh

While the Shivraj Singh Government in Madhya Pradesh has won Shahdol Lok Sabha and Nepa Nagar Vidhan Sabha by-election, Vasundhara Raje Scindia Government in Rajasthan has lost even Municipal election in Jhaalawar where it lost all 22 seats to the Congress.

Yeh Modi hai ...

After 9 years Aunty ne kyon diya interview!!
Now at her doorstep there is no interview seekers queue!!
Actually this was a Message from High Command!!
On popular demand! !
That ....I'm still in Command!!
My Munna is not and this was the popular demand!!
As Aunty 'went underground'!!
Many worried Congis were to be found!!
Most Congis feel Munna lacks the required qualities!!
You compare him with even Akhilesh and you see glaring inequalities!!
Modi ke saath toh you cannot even compare him!!
If you do people will say ..are you dim??
Aunty chose a Journo who suffers from acute Modi allergy!!
Rabidly anti Modi would be apt analogy! !
Also Aunty tried to revive her Mom in Law ki yaad!!
Seems she's trying to squeak into politics her other Aulaad!!
Because she too does realize..Munna se nahi hoyega!!
Aur pressure daala toh he'll throw a tantrum aur royega!!
Rumor has it that Bitiya has streaked her hair like Daadi!!
And soon she'll also dress only in khaadi!!
In Punjab at a Kejriwal rally!!
The Public showed with Modi they were Pally! !
All of them admired Demonitisation!
Said it's a wonderful step for the Nation!!
We know Rent a Crowd is common!!
Rented crowds admiring openly known Foe of Renter is uncommon!!
Kejriwal in his sensationalism frame of mind!!
Mouthing the same dialogue you will find!
Chants Demonitisation is humongous scandal!!
Word on street is its an issue impossible for him to handle!
Opposition can cry itself hoarse!!!
It's will the Opposition wants to enforce!!
Modi will attend Parliament in due course!!
It's well known Modi does not buckle to force!!
Confucius says..You cannot reason people out of a position!!
That they did not reason during position's composition!!
Flash....In bye polls BJP has done well!!
Congress again fell!!
Congress was hoping Demonitisation would make BJP slip!!

Who is responsible for mismanagement in demonetization?

*IAS Babus should be made to account for the demonetization Buggers Muddle that they have created*-Of An excellent scheme by the PM/ Govt

This exposes their full-fledged ignorance of the Banking sector and lack of in-depth Planning. The Finance Secretary, Banking Secretary and Revenue Secretary made a hash of the entire scheme.Babus are Jack of all trades & Master of none :this is happening in all Ministries including sensitive ones .Their colossal ignorance was of such a huge magnitude that they did not even know how many notes needed to be printed & ATM cassetes need to to modified ! !At least now the politicians & over a Billion Citizens of this country are witness & need to know that misplaced reliance on the IAS is proving very costly.
Modi must be ruing his dependence on the IAS. The political debate now going on in Parliament is about the total lack of preparedness of this entire operation. A good scheme has been mishandled thoroughly by a *bunch of IAS wallahs.* The irony is that no media is blaming them! The bankwallas or politicians are taking all the blame!

" Blaming bureaucracy is misplaced perception "

Several posts accusing bureaucracy betrays hair-splitting mentality. How could currency notes of Rs 500 and 1000 denominations pre-empt PM's decision ? The objective was to take on blackmarketeers including jewellers, builders, colonisers, corrupt politicians, bureaucrats by surprise without allowing them time to legitimize their dirty cash by depositing in banks, resorting to hawala transactions , illegal purchase of immovable assets , gold etc.

Contributions made by banking and income tax officials merit appreciation for implementing the historic decision. PM Modi and the officials would surely be under threat from those who are adversely impacted by surgical strike on black money. The inconvenience caused to public-at-large, is also abating gradually.

PM Modi's bold action besides leading to deflation , enhancing GDP,will also neutralize naxalism and terror attacks from across the border in absence of terror-funding .Results will start appearing soon. Just wait and watch.

Diya Tale Andhera

Today in the whispers there is an item that Mrs. Kusum Sharma of UP cadre has been inducted in to the IAS post retirement. When there are laid down rules for not considering any officer who are left with certain years of service before retirement, is it a mistake on the part of whisper, DoPT or UPSC, if the news is correct. The same efficient DoPT has not been able to complete the cadre restructuring of CSS & CSSS for the last two years. I hope these are not ache din but dipak tale andhera.

Grievance of a railway pass holder

A retired Master Craftsman claimed that despite being eligible for first class pass, the Railways had not been honouring several clauses related to the journey performed by a pass holder. He sought Information regarding rules relating to privilege passes issued to railway employees. The Commission observed that under the provisions of the RTI Act, 2005, only such information as is available and existing and held by the public authority or is under control of the public authority can be provided. The PIO is not supposed to create information that is not a part of the record. He is also not required to interpret information or furnish replies to hypothetical questions. Similarly, redressal of grievance, reasons for non-compliance of rules /contesting the actions of the respondent public authority are outside the purview of the Act. Further, the CIC observed that the appeal relates to the grievance of the retired employee regarding utilization of railway passes and lack of awareness and sensitization of the work force dealing with such matters. This aspect needs to be re-examined by the competent authority to provide relief and succour to the affected retired employees in an objective and transparent manner.

Comments

Even though the redressal of grievance is outside the purview of the RTI Act, it has been frequently used to obtain some relief. The Information Commission has been sympathetic to injustice metered through a system which is not objective or opaque.
