2289 KM International Border is under MHA
Indo - Pakistan has 3323 KM long International border(IB).About 2289,66
km of IB is under the operational control of MHA. According to information
2034,96 km has been covered by physical barriers. Remaining 254,80 km
of border is planned to be covered by physical and non - physical barriers
shortly.
Chance meeting with an 'aide' of Laloo...
I happened to me meet one of Laloo's self professed 'Aide' .....Chamcha
...
Me: Kyaa haal hai ...
Chamcha: Ek dum jhakaas... Laloo ji mehenat karr rahe hai !!

C: Why Sir ji ..aise matt bollo..... humaare Laloo ji ne kabhi bhi ek
paisa ghoos ka hai khaaya..he will never allow corruption....
M: Paagal hai kya.. ek paisa koyi khaata hai ghoos mein.. ...achchaa
yeh batao Chaara Ghotala kitne ka tha....
C: Arre itne badhe sthar ki Rajnithi mein aisi chotti chotti baathe
ho jaathi hai ..
M: Wah re Chamche...achcha ...now that he's made one son DCM and the
other a Minister he must be happy ...
C: Kya happy ..Laloo ji hai toh they are Ministers .....ask one .. 2+2
and he will say 4 Caronas/Stellas and the other will say 4 ...nahi nahi
...I can't disclose this .. if Laloo ji comes to know I revealed this
....merra Launda Naach karwaa denge..

C: Working relationship... when Laloo ji demands something Nitish maanta
hai!!

C: Even before Nitish can spell out what he wants Laloo ji says...humm
jaanta hoo ... and matter is over ..

C: Should be ok ..because I know for a fact that Laloo ji does not keep
running out of the house every now and then ..

C: Arre (whispers) its said the secret of his extra large family is
power cuts in Bihar ..when he started family planning he started running
out of the house whenever there was a powet cut ....now its more like
a reflex action !!

C: Aunty ji ke saath ..A1....recently when Aunty ji was on medical leave
at home Laloo ji sent her a bouquet of flowers everyday ...he entrusted
the job to a senior Leader from RJD who is stationed in Delhi .. and
this Leader entrusted the job to his Aide ...the Aide entrusted the
job to a Business House from the area where this Leader comes from ....and
this Business House entrusted the job to a Company that is a big Supplier
to this Business House... I hear the Supplier has entrusted the job
to a group of Companies that are associated with it ..
M: And who keeps tabs that flowers reach everyday ...
C: Laloo ji ... when flowers are delivered his Aide gets a SMS and then
Laloo calls up Aunty ji..
M: So Nitish is keeping in touch with BJP and Laloo with Congress ...so
both are being ready ...if there is a split ..
C: Arre yeh Laloo ji hai ... he has an alternative ready for everything
...
M: Even Rabdi....
C: Pucca.... yahaa Rabdi hooee gussa aur wahaa Laloo ji Shaadhi ki Card
chapwaane waale ko bulla dehte hai ......buss in no time Rabdi turns
to sugar from neem ...
M: Health ...
C: Here too he is ready ...one call and there would be a line outside
his house for donating ...kidney and liver ... aur Singapore durr nahi
hai!!!

Postponement of DPC meeting disappoints IIS
officers (UPDATED)
Postponement of Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) meeting for the
Indian Information Service (ISS)- Group 'A' scheduled to be held on
October 10, 2016, has disappointed the officers at the eleventh hours.
Around 30 officers, who were expecting their promotion as Dussehra gift,
expressed displeasure at the decision of Union Public Service Commission
(UPSC).
Eight ISS officers transferred (UPDATED)
As many as eight officers belonging to Indian Statistical Service (ISS)
have been transferred and posted to different places at Deputy Director
level. Accordingly, K C has been transferred to CWC, M/o Water Resources,

Avoid Jingoism !
In the present war-like situation , the political loose cannons and
Bollywood brigade have been making mindless, impetuous statements causing
huge embarrassment . They must learn to shut up and put up.The Pakistani
performers visit India on tourist visas but act in indian films without
work permits. It would be unfair to force the Pakistani artistes condemn
their country for sponsored terrorism. Their lives will be at risk at
the hand of jehadi tanzeems on returning home. International law is
clear. India should arrange for all Pakistani visitors (including artistes)
safe passage back home. The suspects should, however, be taken into
custody. Consider politics. The Leftists sermonize GOI engagement with
Pakistan despite Uri attacks killing 18 Indian brave hearts. Let us
be upfront. The Media is also to blame. Of late, two reporters of an
English daily, in their misplaced enthusiasm for sensationalism , filed
unverified reports jeopardizing country's security. This was a serious
security lapse. Both were admonished by indian security agencies. The
Indian politicians , Media and the bollywood stars , are not expected
to peddle jingoism as truth ,under cover of Right to Freedom of Speech
and Expression.
WIC is an important platform. Its surfers include members of the political
Executive , bureaucracy , the Media and the politicians-at-large. This
is now time to strengthen hands of PM Modi, instead of indulging in
competitive fault-finding and nationalism. Let the message be loud and
clear.

Netas undermining country for political interests, disgusting
It is disgusting how our so called netas do not hesitate to undermine
their country for their own political interest. For them is not the
grief of the families of our soldiers killed by the rogue elements of
Pakistan. The regular flow of coffins of jawans and officers of army
and those of paramilitary forces CRPF and BSF dying in terrorists' attack
sponsored by Pakistan do not stir their conscience. They are more bothered
to see that their vote bank does not get eroded.Government has to be
opposed even if it does good work.What else does explain the conduct
of Arvind Kejriwal, Sanjay Nirupam and others including one who had
been the ex-home minister of the country once. These worthies have been
lauded by Pakistan media by questioning the surgical strike of Army
on 29th September.Pakistan got the chance to say'look what we are saying
is corroborated by Indian politicians'.At a time when our armed forces
are facing a very challenging situation the statements made by these
netas are not only irresponsible and insensitive but antinational.While
Pakistan P.M says his army is ready for 'jung' and the entire Pakistan
is with them here are our people questioning our army. Shame on them
!

Multiple RTI Applications seeking huge information
The applicant sought huge information pertaining to Income Tax
offices. He also wanted to know the basis of conducting survey
and search and the specific steps taken to stop tax evasion during
the financial year 2013-14 etc. The PIO submitted that the appellant
has filed as many as 30 appeals before the Central Information
Commission seeking all and sundry information and despite heavy
pressure they have made strenuous efforts to provide the information.
He further stated that much of the information sought by the appellant
is in the public domain and can be accessed by visiting the department's
website www.incometaxindia.in. The appellant stated that he had
lodged a TEP against a medical store in early 2015 and wants to
know what action has been taken by the department. He further
stated that he wants a copy of the scheme for payment of award
to informants. He also requested for a note explaining the method
adopted by the Income Tax Department for assessment and scrutiny.
The PIO stated that he will supply the information as requested
above by the appellant. The CIC observed that once a certain information
is placed in the public domain accessible to the citizens either
freely, or on payment of a predetermined price, that information
cannot be said to be 'held' or 'under the control of' the public
authority and, thus would cease to be an information accessible
under the RTI Act. The Commission hoped the appellant will take
a careful note of the above judicial observations and refrain
from filing frivolous RTI applications in future.
Comments
Whenever one is seeking information under the RTI Act, the RTI
Application should be focused and specific. Asking for voluminous
information through multiple applications may lead to a charge
of abuse of the process of law.
