This latest kind of empire does not annex even the land; it only annexes
the wealth or the wealth-producing elements in the country.
All lighthouses to be Solarized
The Directorate General of Lighthouse & Lightships (DGLL), a subordinate
organization under the Ministry of Shipping, has decided to replace
the source of energy utilized at lighthouses to renewable source. 176
Lighthouses are fully solarized. The Directorate has planned to achieve
complete solarization of all the Lighthouses by 31December2016. Presently
DGCL is maintaining 193 Lighthouses which provide aids to marine navigation
to the mariners transiting in coastal waters of India.
Amar ...Akbar... Antony
I take the 5.13 Fast to Andheri and as usual my Train Buddies are travelling
with me. Today Akbar is the host and he's bought Coffee and Muffins.
Amar: Mazaa aa gaya
Pakistan to thokk diya
. the surgical
strikes were spread over 250 kms and the toll was between 40 to 200
Pakis
soldiers and terrorists. First time India has been so daring!!
Akbar: Hawaa aane doh Miya
. arre Congress too undertook a Surgical
Strike
. it was named Operation Ginger, took place after the beheading
of our Jawans.
Amar: Why are you fibbing
in a Debate on TV the then COAS and DGMO
have confirmed there was no such strike. It could a be a 'fabricated'
strike
why did India not announce that such a Strike had taken
place
. because no such strike took place!!!
Antony: Maybe the Government of the day, UPA, felt it would be prudent
to keep mum
. the casualties have been inflicted
now why
talk about it ????
Me: If and I say IF the strike did take place
. UPA could not have
risked revealing the strike as India was Diplomatically on weak grounds
at that time
especially with US!!! That's the big victory of Modi
.
via his aggressive Diplomacy he was able to get many Countries, especially
those that matter, into India's corner!!! Just Surgical Strikes without
announcing the Strikes is like wearing a Brand that has never built
a Brand Value!!!
Amar: I also feel such a strike during UPA could not have taken place
Manmohan Singh was itching for a Nobel Peace Prize
. and Sonia
would have felt that if Manmohan Singh got the Peace Prize it would
actually be construed that the Prize is hers
..
Akbar: Chalo
you think Pakistanis will stop the Terror attacks
just because of the Surgical Strikes
. I thinkIndia has just upped
the stakes!!
Me: Actually India has put a deterrent
in the past they attacked
us and after some hue and cry and threats it was back to normal!!! And
I am sure Pakis have profiled Modi and would have realized he's tenacious!!
Why do you think now the Launch Pads have Pak Army protection
and Hafeez Sayed and his types are now living in Pak Cantonments!!!
Yes, they say they've collected more than 200 Terrorists at the Terror
Pads to be launched in to India
so there will be diversionary
attacks with the motive of pushing in these terrorists in. But bottom
line is
. there is a price now to be paid for attacking India!!!
And now the Non-State Actor fib no longer works.... Modi has convinced
the World on this too!!
Antony: But war and development cannot go hand in hand
.
Me: Neither can cowardice and development
because with every strike
the Pakis
. were getting bolder and bolder
..very soon we'd
have had a bigger 26/11 type of attack
but now Pakistan will think
yes
'chut putt' attacks will continue!!!
Akbar: See what Nawaz Shareef has said
.. in Agri Fields you cannot
have tanks if you want to lift up your Country economically!!
Amar: That's his call!!! And for Paki Army War is a huge money spinner
.in
fact it's this money that makes them keep the ante up against India!!
Me: And I hope now the Pak Army has noted that India has a capability
of waging a hit-tech war
. something that's alien to Pakis!!!
Amar: Motta Bhai
.. as I see it
. UPA let the Pakis take
on the Bully image
. and Modi's just punctured this
the
message remains
for one tooth entire jaw!!!
Akbar: I don't understand why is there such a hulla on Rahul Baba's
Khoon ki Dalaali comment!!
Me: Like its being said on the Social Media
. Dalali and Congress
are synonymous
. otherwise he'd have just said
no attempts
to score political gains out of Army's endeavors!!
Amar: But Rahul had no issues when in UP Posters came out congratulating
Akhilesh for advising the NDA to conduct these Surgical Raids!!! Jhoot
pe profiteering!!
Me: Actually these Raids have been a big morale booster for India and
Indians. And Politicians realize this. Certain BJP Politicians tried
giving credit to BJP
.Modi put an end to it by saying there should
be no back thumping and chest puffing.
Amar : And you two Akbar and Antony should remember .. when bombings
are done
the terrorists do not plant bombs that do not harm Muslims
and Christians. It's the Country's Citizens that are at risk!!!
Me: Yes especially in a Country where Citizens from different castes
religions are so intertwined!!
Amar: Mota Bhai kall Party merri taraf se
.. Gujarati style!!!
Akbar: Siraf India ke liye (and he applauds)!!!
Antony: Hear .. hear
for India!!

Support forces in every way
People seem to forget that the forces are defending the borders and
tackling terrorists for security of the nation. The Nation includes
politicians, actors, writers, journalists, intellectuals and all citizens
of this country. The forces are not fighting and dying for themselves,
but for all of us. Is it not our duty to support them in every way ,
including boycott of the actors, goods, business with an enemy country.

Multiple RTI Applications seeking huge information
The applicant sought huge information pertaining to Income Tax
offices. He also wanted to know the basis of conducting survey
and search and the specific steps taken to stop tax evasion during
the financial year 2013-14 etc. The PIO submitted that the appellant
has filed as many as 30 appeals before the Central Information
Commission seeking all and sundry information and despite heavy
pressure they have made strenuous efforts to provide the information.
He further stated that much of the information sought by the appellant
is in the public domain and can be accessed by visiting the department's
website www.incometaxindia.in. The appellant stated that he had
lodged a TEP against a medical store in early 2015 and wants to
know what action has been taken by the department. He further
stated that he wants a copy of the scheme for payment of award
to informants. He also requested for a note explaining the method
adopted by the Income Tax Department for assessment and scrutiny.
The PIO stated that he will supply the information as requested
above by the appellant. The CIC observed that once a certain information
is placed in the public domain accessible to the citizens either
freely, or on payment of a predetermined price, that information
cannot be said to be 'held' or 'under the control of' the public
authority and, thus would cease to be an information accessible
under the RTI Act. The Commission hoped the appellant will take
a careful note of the above judicial observations and refrain
from filing frivolous RTI applications in future.
Comments
Whenever one is seeking information under the RTI Act, the RTI
Application should be focused and specific. Asking for voluminous
information through multiple applications may lead to a charge
of abuse of the process of law.
