In Lucknow, PM Narendra Modi started his speech with "Jai Sri Ram" and also ended it with "Jai Sriram". People say he is going to implement RSS agenda in the UP elections.

Discussion at a Dhaba over Aloo Dishes....
I am at a Dhaba on NH8 ….it's a very famous Dhaba. Seated on the same table are a retired Fauji and a Businessman.
Fauji: (to the waiter) Boy kuch Aloo ki dish khilao … yeh TV pe aur Facebook pe Aloo ki itni charchaa ho rahi hai that when I left Delhi I was in a mood to eat some Potato Dish…
Businessman: Jee ha…. Rahul Baba ki Aloo Factory and Kejriwal's pet name have got the Media and Social Media on fire…
Me: I think what Rahul must have meant was a Factory for value addition of the humble potato…. and Kejri by now has apart from the pet names his family has given him numerous Pet Names that Indians have given him….the Pet names that he's got in such a short time makes him a candidate for the Limca Book of Records!!
F: Yes anything that Rahul says becomes a joke…..arre Dhabe Waale Bhai Saab zaraa Times Now se koyi aur News Channel lagaana…lets see what the others are saying!!!

M: Sir ( addressing the Fauji) now Congress says under its stint India undertook a surgical strike… the then COAS and DGMO have both said no surgical strike took place when UPA was in power!!!
F: See maybe a surgical strike took place…. but not on the orders of the Government but maybe the Office Commanding the Platoon there decided to undertake the strike….why….. because post the beheadings of our soldiers as there were no orders for retaliatory operations the morale of the soldiers under his Command must have plummeted ….so he may have decided to give the Pakis a bloody nose…. Or the decision could have been taken higher up in the Fauj ….. bloody brave chaps!!!

M: I agree with you Sir….. viewing the track record of UPA I too am a firm believer that if a Surgical strike took place then it was because the Army, at whatever level, decided to avenge the brutal killing of its Soldiers… for all you know if the strike hadn't taken place the Soldiers there on the spot would have done so on their own!!! F: Bloody Hogwash…. at first I too was in a quandary after the SM went viral on the issue… the timing was suspect….. it was timed just after the surgical attacks …motives were the same… shame this Government….fact is disability pensions for 90% of the Faujis has gone up… there is some anomaly and its going to be resolved by November 2016.

F: Frankly comparisons continue….I think most Faujis are happy. Without a doubt we are better off than we've ever been!!!! And you know satisfaction varies from person to person… but I feel most Faujis are satisfied!!
B: Sir ji Businessman ke liye bhi there should be some pension!!! Marr jaathe hai to set up a business … then to run it….like they say if you set up a Factory you will die trying to make it succeed .. it's the next generation that will enjoy the fruits!!! We are also involved in Nation Building!!!

Taxation will change dramatically ….in fact the Tax Manual will come with permissible Loopholes…and if you are able to invent loopholes you would get an award…..there will be Pensions for Businessmen….subsidized Daaru…..

Naidu inaugurates HPL housing technology park (UPDATED)
M Venkaiah Naidu, Minister of Housing & Urban Poverty Alleviation inaugurated HPL Housing Technology Park at Jangpura, New Delhi. The unique Technology Park has been established by HPL and showcases 11 alternate housing construction prefab technologies, which could be utilized for construction of housing units towards meeting the Prime Minister's mission of "Housing for all by 2022". On the occasion, Naidu said speedy safe and sustainable construction using prefabricated alternate technologies is the need of the hour. Why strident calls about surgical strikes emanating from PM wannabes ?

Why are these strident calls emanating from PM wannabes about the surgical strikes? Why is Arvind Kejriwal crying hoarse over evidence of strikes? Why is Rahul Gandhi making noises about dalali?
The reason is obvious. They are all of them aware that the surgical strikes have raised the popularity of PM Modi. This could be an important factor in establishing PM Modi as a decisive leader who can walk the talk. It may help Modi in the coming Punjab and UP polls.

So, they are resorting to accusations, charges, you name it. But will this not backfire?

Arvind Kejriwal and Rahul Gandhi feel that even if they raise irrelevant questions or make silly accusations, it will sow seeds of obfuscation in the minds of people. If the issue is obfuscated, they feel that Modi might not reap all the advantage of his well crafted strategic surgical strikes.

They also know that it may backfire. So, Arvind Kejriwal, the master of top spin has gone and asked the PM to give evidence to counter Pakistani propaganda! So Rahul Gandhi initially showed as if he supported Modi's action. Then, in a well calibrated move, he said Modi was undertaking dalali while saying that the UPA too had carried out surgical strikes, though unpublicised!
Their objective is simple. Trash the achievement. Obfuscate the issues. So that Modi is caught in explaining the issue. So that there are doubts of some sort or the other in the public mind. So that Modi does not get unqualified approval from the electorate. So that some people at least start doubting whether the whole thing was actually as successful. So that Modi does not reap the benefits of his strategic action. They think the Indian public is gullible.

What is admirable about PM Modis's strategic action is not only the fact that has he taken action which was long due.He has also isolated Pakistan within SAARC. He has also isolated Pakistan in the world. Almost every country of the world has approved o India's action. This part of his action is as noteworthy as his bold, decisive action in ordering surgical strikes.
He has proved he is the statesman.

Time will prove that Arvind Kejriwal and Rahul Gandhi are nowhere near him in statesmanship.
And as for elections, both the latter can bid goodbye to their perceived prospects. Because the Indian public will not back the warriors of words who have only their personal interest in mind when they play political games of this ilk.

Sahay has been posted as Executive Director (Traffic)/ Environment Management in the Ministry of Railways. He is a 1993 batch officer and one of the brightest officers of Indian Railway Traffic Service. In his previous assignment, as Director/Coaching (Punctuality), he single handedly improved the punctuality of Railways to above 80% when the Rail Minister was under severe criticism from the Prime Minister for deteriorating performance on punctuality front in 2015. He was the man who put his foot down and succeeded in stopping wrong reporting of train timings, a practice that was seeped into the Railway system for ages for claiming great performance.
