POLITICS

This is History (395)
War any time is terrible affair, but civil war is often more horrible .

Only V K Singh or Gen V K Singh knows ?

Is the Congress right or telling lie ? Correct answer lies with Union Minister of State V K Singh. Infact, the Congress gave out the dates on which surgical strikes were conducted during Manmohan Singh's tenure as September 1 in 2011, July 28 in 2013 and January 14 in 2014. Incidentally on September 1,2011, Gen V K Singh who is now MoS in NDA Government was the Army Chief.

What people say !

Give Narendra Modi minimum 10 years to set things right in the country. First five years to settle down and understand system. During first five years he would consolidate and chalk out future plan. Next five years will be for execution.

East or West, Indian Army best

Congress has pressed Nirupam into attack mode!!
Diggy is always in croaking mode!!

Both are questioning the Surgical Strikes!!
And we know they do whatever Sonia likes!!

Why Nirupam of all the Leaders they've got!!
In stature he's just a 'tiny tot'!!

Wonder why is Rahul not questioning the Strike!!
Congis say 'Our Baba is in UP where he's on a hike'!!

Actually the plan is Top Leadership will be mum!!
And all guns blazing the Third Rung will come!!

And Kejri is but naturally in the forefront!!
To take on Modi he always on the hunt!!

Now Journo Praveen Swamy has his take!!
The attacks did take place but numbers put out are fake!!

He says the dead count is much less!!
He says from the locals this info he was able to access!!

I think he's come to know the sachayee!
And via the numbers he's now continuing his hai duhayee!

If the footage is released the doubting lot will say!!
In the background Haqeeqat type of background music should play!!

Congress could demand the Strike be named!!
For doing this it's famed!!

Rajiv Gandhi Surgical Strike for one!!
And in the entire footage the name should run!!

Achchaa if Footage is released the doubters will say!!
Actually Pakistan we wanted to flay!!

Because Pakis were doubting our Fauj!!
And we knew Strikes took place as per our khoj!!

Via the footage we wanted to shut them up!!
Sabh ke pehle Kejri maare ga yeh gup!!

On releasing footage on all counts not in our interest!!
But then Government knows best!!

But do give a thought to dual stance!!
High Command's silence and Nirupam doing a war dance!!

AAP's Ashutosh demands BJP should not take credit!!
Via a Tweet he said it!!

Fact is Modi risked it all!!
If Strike failed for his blood they'd bay and for Modi's head they'd call!!

The one who risks it all!!
Only he has the right to walk tall!!

Confucius says ... Cursed is a Nation that has people who doubt it's Fauj!!
It's because of the Fauj that without a worry we do mauj!!

Adds... Blessed is a Nation that has a Leader who has guts!!
When it comes to the good of the Nation he doesn't hedge with 'ifs and buts'!!

Review causing further delay !

IAS officers with less than 20 years service are being appointed as Joint Secretary in the Centre whereas senior officers of 1987,1988 batches from allied services like Railways etc are yet to be even empanelled as Joint Secretaries, leave alone being posted ! It was expected that NDA Government would rectify this anomaly but it appears that the 360 degree review is causing further delay!

DATE WITH RTI

Multiple RTI Applications seeking huge information

The applicant sought huge information pertaining to Income Tax offices. He also wanted to know the basis of conducting survey and search and the specific steps taken to stop tax evasion during the financial year 2013-14 etc. The PIO submitted that the appellant has filed as many as 30 appeals before the Central Information Commission seeking all and sundry information and despite heavy pressure they have made strenuous efforts to provide the information. He further stated that much of the information sought by the appellant is in the public domain and can be accessed by visiting the department's website www.incometaxindia.in. The appellant stated that he had lodged a TEP against a medical store in early 2015 and wants to know what action has been taken by the department. He further stated that he wants a copy of the scheme for payment of award to informants. He also requested for a note explaining the method adopted by the Income Tax Department for assessment and scrutiny. The PIO stated that he will supply the information as requested above by the appellant. The CIC observed that once a certain information is placed in the public domain accessible to the citizens either freely, or on payment of a predetermined price, that information cannot be said to be 'held' or 'under the control of' the public authority and, thus would cease to be an information accessible under the RTI Act. The Commission hoped the appellant will take a careful note of the above judicial observations and refrain from filing frivolous RTI applications in future.

Comments

Whenever one is seeking information under the RTI Act, the RTI Application should be focused and specific. Asking for voluminous information through multiple applications may lead to a charge of abuse of the process of law.
