What people say about us!

Sir, the advance information flashed in the whispersinthecorridor is 100% authentic. But, information relating to the Central Secretariat Service viz. stagnation, promotion, etc. is not figuring. Do flash our case also, as we the poor mortals do not have any godfather.

"Are Delhi's super-speciality hospitals superfluous ?"

Kejriwal is just being paranoid, unable to face the disillusioned Delhiites who voted him to power subsequently to be left red-faced. Kejriwal's one week absence from Delhi, was a good riddance , but alas at tax payers' cost. He underwent throat surgery at Mazumdar- Shaw Medical Center, National health city, Bengaluru. High room tariff plus surgery expenses plus cost of to and fro air passage ( first class or business class ). He had attended a 10-day Vipassana session at a meditation centre (August,2016) at Dharamsala, H P Kejriwal had also visited Jindal Nature cure Institute in Bengaluru in March 2015 for 10 days. The total amount spent on the AAP chief was exorbitant. One is concerned about his mental health. Needs counselling.
The doctrine of No work-No pay, does not apply to Delhi's CM. He does not hold any portfolio. Getting full pay for politicking. Wish him good health, nevertheless.

Is there no expertise in these govt.'s hospital ?

It is a matter of shame that CM Delhi is going to Begaluru for medical treatment whereas in Delhi we have many reputed hospitals like Sir Ganga Ram, Apollo, Fortis, Max and in Govt.'s hospital - AIIMS, LNJP,Safdarjung Hospital and RML. Is there no expertise in these govt.'s hospital ?

DATE WITH RTI

Routine transfer of RTI Application from head office

An application was under the RTI Act seeking certain information about termination of dealership. The appellant prayed for imposition of penalty under Section 20 (1) of the RTI Act and sought compensation alleging that the custodian of the information transferred the application to the Guwahati office. The CIC observed that the somewhat confused replies appear to have been the result of the system of dealing with the RTI applications filed to the Head Office, under which such applications are apparently sent in the first instance to the concerned state office even before checking whether the information in question is available with any of the departments at the Head Office. The CIC held that the Respondents need to streamline the system to ensure that the applications that can be disposed of at the Head Office are not sent needlessly to the state offices. Further, since malafide intent on the part of the Respondents was not established, no action was directed against the PIO under Section 20. Furthermore, as the Appellant did establish any loss or detriment caused to him because of the replies of the Respondents to his RTI application, he was not entitled to get the information.

Comments

In many public authorities, the complete RTI Application is routinely transferred to multiple subordinate offices without proper examination as to which office holds the information. Such a practice leads to delay and an unnecessary paper work which the officials should steer clear of.
