What people say about us!

Its a very informative and useful site which I have been religiously following throughout my career. I have superannuated recently and feel that this site can also be made more useful and relevant to retired officers by providing some information on post retirement opportunities, placements etc.

in Bihar.

Big used to be best...

At the Airport Departure Lounge ... flight delayed by an hour. Seated next to me is an elderly gentleman.

Elderly Gentleman: God.... and I had called up before leaving home and they said flight on time...

Me: Sir ... we have to gulp it ... let's gulp it down with Coffee...

EG: Sure .. (Hand him his Coffee...he puts the newspaper aside and takes a sip).. tell me what's wrong with this Gulaam Nabhi Azaad dolt ..comparing ISIS and RSS..

M: His name is an oxymoron .. Gulaam and Azaad...

EG: Ask him to undertake this experiment ... he can say whatever negative he wants about RSS.. Hindus and Hinduism here... yes there will be objections ...maybe even a protest outside his house ... then he should go to ISIS territory and speak negatively about ISIS.. Islam.. only before doing this he should prepare his Will and maybe take a hefty Insurance .. because he'll not return... taken care by ISIS in ISIS style...

M: You have a point... now take this Kaniyha fellow ... he talks of Indian Soldiers raping Kashmiri women and he himself was slapped with a fine of 3000... for being a exhibitionist and then he threatened a helpless JNU Lass who objected...

EG: Arre just see what Naxals do to women in the Jungles ...see how Commies had treated Mamtha at one time ...

M: Commies have made WB into one of the most Volatile State's in India ...and when killings take place ...men ..women and children ...all are butchered ..

EG: Psuedos are now saying Modi is a follower of Art Of Living (AOL)...

M: Modi is pucca in his belief ... politics etc...do not budge him ... if he was fickle he would have accepted the Fez Cap ...this one step would have endeared him to many Muslims ...but he stood his ground ... his funda ..to be a good host you do not have to change the cardinal rules of your house... he was there for 3 hours because he enjoyed the cultural event ...nothing more or less....

EG: While I was checking in I overheard a discussion on Loans ...one of them asked... from where can I get a Mallya type of loan...

M: Ha ha ... used to be available with Public Sector Banks ...

EG: But didn't Government let Mallya run away ...

M: Sir there was no arrest warrant... he had a Diplomatic Passport ... CBI Notice was for Look Out and inform only...and he left in a tearing hurry ... classical case of someone being helped by Government to run away is the Q case ...

EG: Will he come back to face the music....

M: Sir in India in the past if you wanted the system to work for you...threshold was Big...swindle ..rob...default big time ... Big was the ticket to getting help from the system..but hopefully this time Modi is proving this funda wrong .... he will come back ..and will play musical chairs ( meaning try to fussao others who were with him in this)...

"Modi has no parallel"
-Prime Minister Narendra Modi who till a little less than two years ago was beloved of the majority might be losing charm in the opinion of some people but the question is that does any one else including his opponents - Rahul, Mulayam or Lalu - have any charm ?
This question came up in the wake of response of the surfers of whispersinthecorridors.com who were asked - "Is PM Narendra Modi losing his charm ? Is he a changed man ?" While some replied in the affirmative, majority did not agree and some of them even asked who else among Indian politicians can stand parallel to him and suggested 'to see the things in the right perspective'.

Long live India !

The Cultural Convalescence in Shri Shri Cultural World Event has become testimonial for any World event when NATURE, for the first time, has given permission & ascent for Visual splendor by sprinkling Rain Water along with Rainbow, the Supreme of Colour and that too danced all along with Music, Chanting Ashloka's & Vedic Mantr's. Now, no need to explain joy, has to realize by participating in this Grand Ceremony of Cultural. Long Live India. Jai Hind !.

Sach.

Babas/Saints etc. are commercial establishments !

I fully agree. Babas/Saints and all other religious leaders too are nothing but a commercial establishments "running business of hope" befooling the public. This is also because theey all have political patronage and run a parallel economy which is cash driven. The best would be to bring Uniform Civil Code. All religious places/ashrams etc be taken over by the Government and converted into Schools/colleges/Hospitals s per local requirements. This is the need of the hour for India.

Do not compare with Congress regime

People shown doors to Congress for their misdeeds. The BJP has been chosen as an alternative and not to repeat and be a replica of the Congress regime lest they will also be shown the doors.

Govt should simplify its procedures

In order to help Air India a national carrier, the Government has introduced a system wherein Government employees have to take permission of the Civil Aviation Ministry for travelleing with any other airline. Agreed it is good thing. But one more thing is that Government should simplify its procedures and reduce its work. In cases wherein the Air India indicates in writing that they do not have tickets for in any of its flights for one of two days, then the Government employee should be allowed to travel by airlines whose rates are less or equivalent to that of Air India and no permission need be taken.

Why Congress is attacking BJP now ?

Yamuna river and riverbed were in a mess for decades

A lot of hue and cry is there about the destruction of ecology along the Yamuna riverbed as a result of a three day function by the AOL foundation. The river and the riverbed have been in a mess for decades now and during summer esp. The river is no more than an open sewer. 18 nallahs carrying untreated sewage fall into the river in Delhi alone. Open defecation on the river bed by residents of jhuggi clusters and unauthorised colonies along the river has been going on for decades. During chaat puja , Durga puja, Etc . The amount of debris thrown into the river is to be seen to be believed . Polluting industries have been discharging untreated effluents without any hindrance. It is known that veggies grown in the bed from this polluted water are not fit for consumption .
