O: Badhi badhi Companies ka faydaa sochch rahe hai... Ooche logh oochi pasand ...

M: Yes why pinch the people who save .......savings are the backbone of our economy ... look at China ... savings fell and economy fell... why doesn't he give Corporates a lollipop from his Kitty... like reduce Corporate tax by 1'basis point' (1%)...

O: Every year there are rumours he will reduce Income Tax... iss ko koun samjhaye... bring down Income Tax by 10% and compliance will shoot up..(whispers) I will start paying Income Tax...

M: These are inconsequential issues for Jaitley ... see the Budget of India ..

O: Then why is it when it comes to us he looks at things with a microscope and looks for ways to hurt our Budgets. ....I read about his allergy to subsidy..

M: His advisors have advised him that subsidies need to be rationalised ...

O: Kyaa baat karte hai... even after increasing prices in the Parliament Canteens ...still the cheapest place to eat... what about the other subsidies MPs and MLAs get.... humaare peechche kyon padha hai... compared to other Developing Nations our Government would be the most 'expensive to run'....

O: The other day at my Committee (kind of kitty) ...many were saying now Jaitley will make Gold as the best long term investment ... locker mein rackho biscuit ya sikka aur bhool jao...

M: Locker waala sonna... is detrimental to the Economy ....

O: Achcha...that is why the Jewelers called off their strike ...he told then about his plan to force Indians to invest long term in Gold ... long time back I used to clandestinely sell gold coins ... I will restart this ....

"Modi has no parallel"
-Prime Minister Narendra Modi who till a little less than two years ago was beloved of the majority might be losing charm in the opinion of some people but the question is that does any one else including his opponents - Rahul, Mulayam or Lalu - have any charm ?
This question came up in the wake of response of the surfers of whispersinthecorridors.com who were asked - "Is PM Narendra Modi losing his charm ? Is he a changed man ?" While some replied in the affirmative, majority did not agree and some of them even asked who else among Indian politicians can stand parallel to him and suggested 'to see the things in the right perspective'.

Yes, all freebees be stopped

I am in complete agreement that all free distribution of Water, Laptop etc be banned as this is normally misused. Even otherwise, human beings have a tendency to be lazy if they get something free. One must earn after putting in all efforts so that society develops and prospers too.

Take immediate action against False affidavits and forged certificates holders

Several views expressed in this forum about cases of recent approval of acc for appointments of directors and chairman's in PSU's is very much shameful. There are vigilance agencies who has given clean chit without verification. Vigilance including CVC should treated such cases are corrupted and heinous crimes. Instead of sending to agencies like truth labs of Hyderabad for verification, they have given clean chit. Persons who are holders of such affidavits and certificates should be punished sections under Sections 420, 468 and 471 of the I.P.C. I request PM to read my view and take immediate action, and stern message sent to others. Such people are behaving like mafia, and they are threatening subordinates.

DATE WITH RTI

Fraudulent surrender of LIC Policy

The Appellant took a health plus policy. She learnt that her policy was surrendered without her knowledge on the basis of her forged signatures on the policy and the amount was used for taking two new policies by her mother-in-law. She complained to LIC and got an FIR registered at Meerut. The LIC informed her that they had sought the explanation of the agent concerned. She asked for a copy of this explanation of the LIC agent under RTI which was denied to her. She argued that the information sought related to her and therefore, she was not a third party and had a right to get a copy of the explanation. LIC stated that on the basis of a complaint, they had paid the amount along with interest to the appellant and redressed her grievance. The copy of the explanation submitted by the agent was denied claiming it to be personal information related to the agency. Relying on the Apex Court judgment in Girish Ramchandra Deshpande case, the CIC upheld the denial of information

Comments

The appellant was able to get back the amount with interest due to the pressure created by RTI application. It is a mute question whether an explanation of the LIC agent in respect of alleged fraud committed in respect of a client can be called as a third party information.
