Madam khelli Holi... wah bhai wah...
It's the 5.52 pm fast local... today is my turn and I take Vada Pao and Pista flavored milk for my train Buddies. ..

Akbar: Lo jee now Rahul and Sonia after years step out to celebrate Holi. ..they think by this they will endear themselves to the majority ...

Amar: When they threw Iftar Parties then you didn't object ... so you guys get taken in by these charades of theirs...

Me: News is their Poll Advisor Prashant has advised then to chum up with Brahmins for the UP Poll...

Amar: So they chose Holi to do this ... if they want to chum up with Brahmins they should start throwing Bhoj after Bhoj...and get used to serving and eating high calorie food ..Pooris.. Kachoris... Jalebis. ..

Me: In Congress's case summoning a Poll Advisor is like calling a Doctor after Patient has been pronounced dead...UP and Punjab will be the Poll Advisor's Waterloo..

Antonty: So Mehbooba has agreed to head a coalition Government ..

Amar:And kindly note no lollipos have been given. ...no CBMs... no Banquets... Mehbooba met Modi .. that's all ...

Me: Yup this is BJP .... and Modi's style is straightforward .... Congress used to bend in all directions because their greed for power was so great ... here BJP made it clear ... will not bend for power .....

Antony: In Uttrakhand Congress saying Baba Ramdev toppling Congress Government ..

Amar: Yes must be after Rahul mentioned .. Fair and Lovely... and not his Fairness Cream..

Me: Apne ghar mein ladayee aur neighbor ke naam pe hai duhayee...

Amar: Ha ha ... I think Baba Ramdev should send Agnijith ... burn cure to Congress ....

Me: I think what they need badly is Fevicol... where where they are not in power ....their bonding is becoming weak..

Akbar: What about in power ....in States where they are in power...

Me: There too Fevicol... Sonia should mandate usage on hands and legs by all MLCs.... their quest for more ....bahut zyaada haath paer (feet) maarna bandh karwae...

"Modi has no parallel"
-Prime Minister Narendra Modi who till a little less than two years ago was beloved of the majority might be losing charm in the opinion of some people but the question is that does any one else including his opponents - Rahul, Mulayam or Lalu - have any charm ?
This question came up in the wake of response of the surfers of whispersinthecorridors.com who were asked - "Is PM Narendra Modi losing his charm ? Is he a changed man ?" While some replied in the affirmative, majority did not agree and some of them even asked who else among Indian politicians can stand parallel to him and suggested 'to see the things in the right perspective'.

Farmers misled by mirage effect
Punjab Legislative Assembly has passed,''The Punjab settlement of Agricultural indebtedness Bill-2016'',explicitly to sail the distressed farming community out of the debt quagmire. As a prelude to the Assembly elections 2017, the 15 years hibernated legislation has seen the day light as the regime has contemplated it as a major booster of garnering votes. However ,this paper tiger may not be able to show its teeth ,as rules are yet to be framed, logistic support of creating and filling 69 posts of the Tribunals and more for the supporting staff, their office, conveyances, service conditions etc may take substantial time, given the easy ways of working of the government especially when powerful lobby of commission agents would use its clout against the prospective establishment. The Act , meant to help the class ,which has no money, would further involve them in circuitous, tiring and labyrinthine litigation, which entails substantial expenses and time, though as usual, period of three months has been fixed for disposal of cases. No interest rate has been fixed, there has not been regular maintenance of accounts by the farmers, and the creditor has all the resources to spend. This creditor friendly legislation shall remain a non-starter and the condition of farmers shall become more precarious, having no further hope of liquidation of debt and immediate relief.

West UP must have its own bench of High Court

Why when UP which is among the largest States, has maximum population - more than 20 crore, maximum districts - 75, maximum constituencies, maximum MPs - 80, maximum MLAs - 404, maximum PM including Narendra Modi, maximum pending cases and here too West UP accounts for more than half of pending cases as noted by Justice Jaswant Commission about 57%, maximum Judges which earlier was 160 and increased to 200 in high court, maximum vacancies of Judges - only 71 in high court, maximum poverty, maximum villages more than one lakh, maximum cities more than 700, maximum fake encounters killings, custody killings, maximum cases of human rights violations, maximum undertrials, maximum cases of crime, loot, arson and riots and here too West UP tops with Saharanpur riots, Meerut riots, Muzaffarnagar riots tarnishing our international reputation to the extent that UN Secretary General termed UP as "crime and rape capital" of India and what not yet Centre is not prepared to create even a single bench for not just West UP but entire UP? Why when UP sends maximum MPs to Lok Sabha - 80, maximum MPs to Rajya Sabha - 30, maximum MLAs to State Assembly - 404 MLAs and maximum members to State Legislative Council - 100 MLAs and yet has least benches - only one and that too just 150 km away from Allahabad at Lucknow ?

Fraudulent surrender of LIC Policy

The Appellant took a health plus policy. She learnt that her policy was surrendered without her knowledge on the basis of her forged signatures on the policy and the amount was used for taking two new policies by her mother-in-law. She complained to LIC and got an FIR registered at Meerut. The LIC informed her that they had sought the explanation of the agent concerned. She asked for a copy of this explanation of the LIC agent under RTI which was denied to her. She argued that the information sought related to her and therefore, she was not a third party and had a right to get a copy of the explanation. LIC stated that on the basis of a complaint, they had paid the amount along with interest to the appellant and redressed her grievance. The copy of the explanation submitted by the agent was denied claiming it to be personal information related to the agency. Relying on the Apex Court judgment in Girish Ramchandra Deshpande case, the CIC upheld the denial of information

Comments

The appellant was able to get back the amount with interest due to the pressure created by RTI application. It is a mute question whether an explanation of the LIC agent in respect of alleged fraud committed in respect of a client can be called as a third party information.
