PSUs incur net loss of Rs 27,360 crore
As many as 77 Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) has incurred a net loss of Rs 27, 360 crore in 2014-15. In 2013-14, a net loss of Rs 21,341 crore was registered in 70 CPSEs.

Website of Indian Revenue Service launched (UPDATED)
Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has launched the website of the Indian Revenue Service (Customs & Central Excise) at his office. This website has been developed by the Indian Revenue Service Association. The website would provide the history of IRS, its functions, training details, information about the officers and their postings, photo gallery of events etc. It provides safe and secure internal discussion forum for officers to discuss various tax policy issues and other fresh ideas for promoting key government agenda of Ease of Doing Business and Make In India. It also provides a link to the Facebook and Twitter accounts of the IRS Association. The IRS Association informed the Finance Minister about the successful social media campaign that was conducted for creating mass awareness about Goods and Services Tax (GST). Finance Minister appreciated the efforts of the IRS Association and expressed his happiness over the initiative for making the Indian Revenue Service digital.

In the UPA Government, the PM was not consulted by anybody. Everybody did what they pleased. Rahulji used to put the PM in his place. Now, Rahulji is not able to do that. Naturally, he does not like it.

What have we come to? Making hero of a man who was party to a function t glorifying a terrorist whose complicity on Parliament attack killed 9 innocent lives and left their families distraught.We have made a hero of a man who endorsed by his presence ,if not shouted slogans himself,the anti-national ,provocative slogans shouted by some of his friends and outsiders on the campus.He says the taxpayers' money is being properly spent on JNU as it is promoting freedom of speech.Certainly not.It is being spent only to help persons like Kanaihya to promote their political ambition by becoming a neta by opposing everything the duly elected Government at the centre is doing.It appears JNU has become a Maoists' adda and it is frustrating to see so much support for it from so-called intellectuals .

What is the criteria for selecting an IRTS(Non Technical service) officer as MD of a technical organization. The experience of officer should be disclosed. Only connections and influence is the criteria for selection. Indian Telecom Service officers are surplus and sitting idle. Just to get posting in home town influential and incompetent non technical officers are grabbing posts suitable for technical officers. This is the main cause of brain drain.
