Very near Shastri Bhavan there is a small eatery. Tired...I stop there for a cup of tea ...place is noisy ..the Owner informs me there's a Kitty going on...

Me: But there are only Men here..

Owner: Ministries ke Peons ki kitty hai.... bahut hulla karte hai....

I sit down and start enjoying my tea. And listen to the talk.

Peon 2: Chodh yaar dill kyo jalaatha hai....

Peon 3: Arre kya dinn theh... one fellow used to pay me for info on how was FMs mood was in the morning... when this Government took over he paid for same job... I told him ..very happy. ..in the evening he called me and fired me ...said you said Mantri ji is happy but the market fell down by 600 points..he tried again... and this time I told him Mantri ji was looking glum.... again in the evening he fired me... the market had gone up by 500 points..

Peon 4: Arre yeh Jaitley hai ... I know he does not even look at the Share prices on TV.... kaha se aa gaya yeh Imaandar Mantri ... Modi ji ne chunn chunn ke Malai waali Ministries mein imaandar Mantri appoint kiye hai..

P3: Yeh cricket match ka kya lafdaa hai. ...

P2: What a joke Pakis coming here to check security... they should have met ISI there in Pakistan and gotten security clearance ... and then this is not a bilateral series match but a multilateral series match. ..so it cannot be seen as India Pakistan series match....

Hidden Poverty of the Salaried Class

India has always suffered the most callous Finance Ministers. Instead of thinking of facilitating lawful additions to fixed monthly wages, they have left no stone unturned to depress real incomes in their hands. This flawed economic theory of a perfunctory socialist country has kept them precariously on the poverty line. One reason for all pervasive corruption in the country is this low wage and still lower expandable incomes in hand. Corruption is prevalent in private sector more than in public sector, as the labour policies are no different, though the figures may look attractively different. But this is illusory. To illustrate the point we consider them in the four Groups (Group A, B, C & D). Those in Group D are likely to remain in Group D till retirement or maximum can reach Group C before retirement and even Group B in a few cases but never Group A. So there is no possibility of any of them crossing the Line of Poverty to enter the "Rich" class. The Group A also remains on the poverty line for at least 15 years, before making it to the higher Grade or the maximum of the scale. Even then, they will die in debt unless the UNO's civil service/military service comes to their financial rescue, or they turn practical. The otherwise highly rational Arun Jaitley ji has also been misled into proposing tax on EPF withdrawals by such off the record opulent employees ! Where else, FM, Sir, does the salaried class in the D, C, B & A Group "borrow" from to meet their urgent needs? Are you even aware that more than 40% goes to financing children education, 20% on health care (tooth implant costs 25000, cataract consultation and tests 30000, heart and kidney much more). Is it the FM's case that all these are taken care of by CGHS or similar schemes? Kindly check the quality of service and percentage of the expenditure from the salaried employee. Even a spectacle costs no less than 7500. The government has been misled by the conspicuously rich to think that by withdrawing from the EPF the employees will indulge in "conspicuous consumption". It is rubbing salt into the wounds, not merely sprinkling it. Kindly don't fall for such silly socialism.

Why does Modi evoke such virulent opposition?

The answer is simple. He belongs to a backward caste. Naturally, neither Lalu, nor Mulayam, nor Nitish, nor Rahul can accuse him of being upper caste! Modi stands for development, which has the potential of uniting voters cutting across caste, region and religion. Like the British, who had adopted the Roman dictum: :Divide et impera, the Congress, the so called communists, the so called socialists, the so called backward and the dalit leaders have also adopted the same dictum, to rule India. Divide people on caste, religion, language, region...and rule in perpetuity! Modi is a danger to them. He unites. Hence, the campaign to besmirch Modi at all costs. But they do not realize one thing. Modi emerges stronger in adversity. He is the only person who thinks of India, not of this social group or that, not of his family members and dynasty, not of his rule at the cost of the country, like other politicians do, but he is a true nationalist.
