Truth is slightly different

It is about your post that says, "The early waves of nationalism in India in the 19th century were religious and by Hindus. The Muslims naturally could not take part in this Hindu nationalism." The truth is slightly different.
The landlords were the first to suffer at the hands of the British and hence in 1857 they - Zamindars who were Thakurs, Pathans and a few others - revolted. The revolt in 1857 was more for their self interest. By 1885, the British realised that the Brahmins who are cool headed and used to be close to powers without trying to take power in their hands would be their best allies. Hence they started promoting them and Congress became their preferred forum. It is not fair to say that Muslims were not part of nationalism. Of course they were never part of Hindu nationalism which did not exist till independence was very close to happen.

PMs Degrees- a non-issue for Aam Janta

What does Bharatmata has to do with degrees of PM Modi ? When people elected him with full majority it was not because of his degrees But because of his hard work, selfless motives, non-corrupt attitude, development plank and no-nonsense approach towards power dalals. Bureaucrats with best of degrees have been found to be extremely corrupt, routine work doers, no innovations, no new ideas for country, except for themselves. We would prefer an illiterate PM with dedication for growth and development of country rather than a Doctorate PM who was unable to stop corruption right under his nose by Ministers and bureaucrats. Delhi Please don't waste time haunting for decorated degrees of our favourite Chaiwala PM Modi. We love him and respect him, with whatever he is on as is where is basis. Jai Hind.

Do this to multiply tax revenue !

I had been reading lots of suggestions and reforms on tax collections in India. Best course would be allow any amount (without limitation) to be deposited in cash to be deposited in bank. At the time of withdrawal from the banks, 1 or 2% be charged as tax which should go as tax to the government. This practice is prevalent in Indonesia. I am sure tax revenue will multiply.
